Bestmark Hack

Beware! I just received a text from what appeared to be Bestmark.

CHAIN STORE MYSTERY SHOP:                                               We have been contracted to conduct a retail store customer experience, your city was selected for the exercise.   Shopper fee: 30 dollars, on every shop completed.  For more information and to apply visit the link:  [tinyurl.com]                                                                 A scheduler will contact you via email - Bestmark Inc -

Looks like a nearly identical site with a few exceptions. Careful look at the web address shows it to be Bestsmark. I’m curious as to how they got my cell and know I shop Bestmark.

There is another thread reporting this as well. I got the same text message. Spam phone and text messages cost nothing. There is no real reason to believe that they are not just broadcasting this spam text. IMHO, just random chance that they are hitting some actual BestMark shoppers. We will likely not hear from the rest unless someone falls for the scam and comes here for help.

Shopping Southeast Pennsylvania, Delaware above the canal, and South Jersey since 2008
Well, maybe, but I think it's too coincidental that shoppers get a text about a shop for a well-known MSC that they are likely to trust.
