Misleading scheduler emails - post your "fun" and "easy" stories here

"You can earn up to $84 with these shops."

Sounds interesting, right? Yes, earn $84 for SIX shops. Into the MS-Spam goes this ISC scheduler.

"Let me offer you my definition of social justice: I keep what I earn and you keep what you earn. Do you disagree? Well then tell me how much of what I earn belongs to you - and why?” ~Walter Williams

Yeah, awhile back I saw the "$60 phone shops" subject line, but when I opened it, I found out it was a package of six $10 shops, lol!
My favorite are the ones I get with the "Going Fast!" everyday for the whole month, with bonuses being added daily.
Got this email from AQ services for luxury retail shops:

"Shop fee is USD 4 per shop, overall there are 15 shops, and every shop takes about 10-15 minutes. If you do all of the visits, it is 60 USD altogether.

The survey to be filled is very easy and simple, don't miss this occasion to have fun and being paid for it!"

The easy and simple shop report is 77 questions... All for a whopping $4!
"Retail shop $55, quick and easy."

Turns out it's $5 each for 11 stores at a mall. Each of the 11 stores requires two pictures, an interaction with specific questions, and a geo verify. And a minimum stay at each store of 10 minutes. And the report is just 16 questions, most of which are yes or no...except the one or two maybe three that are narratives.. Times 11 since there's one report per store.

What are the odds of 11 geo verifys working in a row, each one 100 feet from the one prior?

Pass.
I had a scheduler contact me about a popular $6 phone shop. The scheduler offered me $20+ for the shop. Turns out it was $20+ total for several shops. I laughed and quickly turned down the offer.
Gee, I thought they were all "fast, easy, and fun."

I learn something new every day, but not everyday!
I've learned to never trust spell-check or my phone's auto-fill feature.
There is nothing fun about such shops, but dealing with them is quick and easy. It takes only one keystroke. Of course, with so many shops it is just a mater of time before one needs to replace the delete button and get the finger serviced.
I keep getting one almost daily for a grocery store that says $20 fee. It is a different scheduler than the recent one who used to slowly add bonuses until the fee(plus bonus) actually was $20. Now it is still the same $10 fee with a $10 reimbursement as the base for an expensive store. Over the weeks I have been tricked into opening the email several times.
The interesting part is that if it was closer to home I might even do it for base. But 5 miles away is 20 minutes each way if I were a morning person and 45 minutes to drive home since I am not....nope.
I have said this before but when I see the words "Super Easy" I know it is anything but. Visits that are "Super Easy" are NEVER labeled as such because those visits are gobbled up super fast by shoppers who have done them before and know they REALLY ARE "Super Easy."
When I see "Super Easy" I know that means veteran shoppers for the company want nothing to do with it because it is not. The scheduler is hoping to sucker in new shoppers who take the visit and then find out very fast the visit is NOT "Super Easy." When I take a visit to some place for the first time I always only take ONE! This way if the visit stinks I am only burned one time. If it is "Super Easy" I just file it away for next time.
I find ANY Cellphone shop visit that says "Super Easy" and only pays $10 or less is not even worth my time to click "Delete" from my page if I can. I think it stinks for MSCs to flat out LIE like this but I guess I understand why they do it - desperation.
easy, fun, fast, and quick, no narrative, easier report, and increased pay all mean delete.

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.
And which finger are you using?

So around here where the cost of living is one of the highest in the country I do not take the super easy shops...Some of them are really super easy but the pay is super small and the travel time to even a mile away is super big so I delete. I have no interest working for $5 an hour.
My favorite one was a easy order online and return. Until it was an oversized, very heavy item it took me two days of scheduling to be home for and then another three weeks to figure out how the heck to get it out of my house when they didn't want it returned. I will never do that one again and I still see it on the certified field associates website. They even have the nerve to call me and offer me a small bonus. I told them I wouldn't even consider that for less than 500 bucks. I posted about this a while ago but can't find the thread.

Yes, thank you! For some reason I thought it was a hot tub but couldn't find the thread.

Nope! I would have kept that. It was a huge conference room glass dry erase board!
