Anybody want lots and lots of phone shops?

I ran across this company. A hundred a week is way more phone shops than I want to do, but if you're interested, here ya go.

Thank you. Minimum wage where I am is $10 an hour; I would love to work from home all winter long! I e-mailed them, we'll see what happens.

(Yes, I hate phone shops; but I don't have a car now, and making money without having to pay someone else to drive me to shops looks pretty good right now.)
Yes, looks sort of like "on the job training" -- 25 the first week, and if I recall correctly, 80 or 85 the second week, and thereafter 100 a week. MINIMUM.
*shudders and recalls a job that was all about phone calls*

"Compensation – Surveyors will be paid $6 per hour and a piece rate of $.50 for surveys marked Done, $.30 for surveys marked Wrong Number, $.20 for surveys marked Part-Done, and $.07 for surveys marked Answering Machine or No Answer. You will receive at least minimum wage in your jurisdiction for all hours worked; however, you can earn more depending on your speed and efficiency."

Struggle pay. My local McDonald's around the corner pays more at $14 an hour minimum.

Very infrequently shopping the Greater Denver Area, Colorado Springs and in-between in Colorado these days.
So in my area, it would take 18 Done calls per hour in order to reach the minimum wage level. ($6 base plus 18 x 50 cents.) I can make calls for a company I work with at $12 per call, so even 2 calls in an hour is $24. Each call takes about 20 minutes, including the report. Hmmmm. What to do, what to do?

I will give one extra dollar to the first person who informs this forum how long it took them to do "100 completed done surveys." Please include the the total time including all the calls between the 1-100 "completed done surveys" that were wrong number, part done, answering machine etc.

So, in CA, minimum wage is about to change to $13 an hour. You would get $13 an hour, minimum in CA.

It's ideal for somebody who has no transportation or is disabled or has no money to outlay for shopping.
Actually, I stopped at $0.50.

Just one more thing: If you talk with someone who is verbose, needs time to prepare answers, or otherwise slows down your average speed, you will lose/or at least not earn the bigger bucks.
