PayPal - adding $

I have been MS for 19 years and have never added money to my PayPal account. I signed up for the Intellishop shop which requires a $50 deposit for a GSP devise they are sending me. PayPal's response was 3-5 days and the report is due by the 15, which won't be possible. I have written to Matt but it was after hours this evening. Any info from my fellow shoppers is greatly appreciated : )! Thank You!

If you have money sitting in PayPal, it will transfer immediately.
if not:
Have a friend do an instant transfer to you.
Hope that somebody pays you in the next day or two so that you can do an instant transfer.
Transfer money from your second PayPal account if you have one. I have a regular and premier account.
If your bank account or a credit card is linked, you can send money and it will automatically and instantly transfer the funds from there.
Thank you. My bank account has been linked to PayPal for 15 years and the reply was the money wouldn't transfer until the 13th. That was the reason for my question.
Usually, when you go to pay and it sends you to PayPal it asks if you want to pay with PayPal or the bank/card attached to the account. Adding money to your account does take a few days unless you pay the fee to instantly transfer it over. I think its 50 cents or maybe a buck to do it instantly.

If you have cash, you can go to a Dollar General, Walmart, etc, deposit directly to your PayPal. It will cost you around $3, but it will show up within minutes.

Edited to change - it should be $3, not $30!

Try explaining that to the tax man.

Why would I need to explain anything to "the tax man" - i can transfer money from one account to another anytime I want. This has no bearing on my income...

I agree. Transferring has no tax consequences. Weird.
Try explaining it to the cashier at Dollar General or Walmart.

Never had a problem...they scan the QR code on your phone, take your money, hang you a receipt.
If you needed the money to do a shop and there was a charge for the transfer, use it as a business expense.
