What is the favorite reimbursed item you have ever gotten on a mystery shop

I am peeling potatoes and carrots to make passover food for tonight. Every time I use my vegetable peeler I think of the mystery shop at Victoronix where I purchased it as the only thing in the store of $350 and up luggage and knives I wanted to buy with my meager $10 reimbursement. I have it for years already and it is still wonderful. I like it so much better than some of the more costly things i have been able to buy.
Wow do I love that peeler. What is your favorite purchase with reimbursement from a mystery shop?

A comforter for my bed, use it every night.

My flights. Back in the day, I’d pick up a couple shops that was enough for reimbursement plus spending money to multiple trips for weekend getaways: Miami, Austin, Orlando, San Francisco, New Orleans, etc. And the work was literally no more than 30 minutes of work. Loved it.

Shopping the Greater Denver Area, Colorado Springs and in-between in Colorado. 33 year old male and willing to travel!

2 Barbour jackets-one was an original $480 that was just a return and in the old times all returns to the regular stores were returned to the outlet and not put at the sales floor again that I paid $25 at the outlet; and a 2nd jacket from a boutique that I mailed it back to the company as instructed and by mistake they sent it back to me and I was told to keep it; I have used one for 5 years and still looks great. The DVF sutra purses when that was the shop payment that I use when I go out at high end places, and super great finds from the clearance section at Crate and Barrel and Williams Sonoma.

SOOOO many to choose from!

My taxes because the fee, which is deducted from my refund, is reimbursed.

A fully reimbursed shower curtain liner from an overpriced home goods store. This was a fave because the $10 shop was bonused and parking was free for me.

Mr. Lidz containers was a favorite because I was reimbursed by the time I got home. I use the containers regularly.

Gain fabric softener was a bizarre one. After the shop, I had to make a video about my feelings.

My winter boots from the Aetrex store that look just like UGGS, but have a nice arch support. They are so warm and cuddly. Tickets to see Bruce and Bon Jovi (separate concerts) Steak dinner at a fine steak house that is now my husband's favorite. Hair conditioner from Aveda, which sadly, I'm now paying full price for.

I have not done many retail shops, so I would have to say my favorite reimbursed physical item was when I used to do Cinnabon shops and take home a 6 pack of sweet rolls. Otherwise, it would be the reimbursed hotels and resorts.

About ten years ago I did a Coach shop and bought a leather belt for about $70. I think it was totally reimbursed. It was far more than I had ever spent on a belt in the past. I would buy a new inexpensive belt from a store like Ross and have to replace it every year or two as they would always crack. Well I still have my Coach belt and it is still in perfect condition. I use it as an example of how paying more for a quality product can sometimes be worth it in the long run.

A pair of Zegna shoes from an outlet mall in Cabazon - original MSRP: $1200 - discounted price, $300 - shop fee: $275 (with bonus) - total price paid for the shoes: $25 ! I still wear them today, and it's been 7 years !

Master Crapsman Poo-pourri box set. It has been a godsend in the restrooms at work.

Stance golf socks - my husband's favorites. Amassed a nice collection doing hotel shops and buying them in the hotel boutiques. He always raves about how amazing they are when he wears them.

I love Coach. By the time I discovered how good they were they stopped that shop with the high reimbursement. It became purchase and return in my area. Haven't even seen that in a while - even before the pandemic.

It's enjoyable to read about everyone's favorite reimbursement! Since I'm not a full time shopper and stick mainly to a few steady niches, I'd have to say my favorite reimbursements are the grocery reimbursements. Those shops have been great for my grocery budget, and about 3/4 of the time, I get the shops when they're bonused.

Back before Nevada got so strict, I got three free nights at a decent hotel that included a prime rib dinner for two, upscale breakfast buffet each day, $50 in gambling chips and a $50 gift card to Red Lobster, all in return for an audio taped two hour time share presentation.

I was doing a Kroger grocery store in Salt Lake City. The fish department (?) made an announcement over the PA that there was a special. I moseyed on back there, and asked the lady. She said anything they didn't sell in the next 20 minutes had to be tossed.

I told her I had $10 to spend, and asked her to give me $10 worth of King Crab and shrimp. I got 15 lbs. of King Crab legs and 5 lb. of giant shrimp -- all covered by my $9 reimbursement!!!

Stopped on the way home and got a loaf of sourdough bread, and my daughter, son-in-law and I FEASTED.

Best ever. I figure way, way over $100 just in the King Crab legs, as they are normally about $29 per lb., and I would never, ever buy them.

After reading and thinking of all the items worth 100's of dollars each that I have gotten I still love my $10 veggie peeler best. A theme for many is the item we would probably never have contemplated purchasing on our own dime but we enjoy so much.

The cop that bought me coffee and breakfast, then my lunch and then dinner - all the same day!

A $100 pair of gold earrings from a jewelry shop at the mall. (Make that twice) Both used as Christmas gifts for my sister and sister in law.
Also, a remote controlled car for my daughter from a Disney shop. She loves it.

Oh yes, and a nice faux leather Versace bag from Shop LC. A tea set from a website. One cup that came with the set was chipped, so they sent me another set. So, I have two dainty little teapots with 3 cups.

We had a rabbi come down to North Carolina for a special service...he could not understand our quite southern-accented Hebrew - and we couldn't understand his New York Hebrew. Or his English, either.
