What’s a Shopper Certification?

Good Morning,
So I’m brand new, and as suggested, I have spent considerable time reading the forum, other info, and signing up at various shopping companies. That has allowed me to go into posted shops, and look at various types of shops, various requirements, etc. Very helpful indeed.
One shopper requirement I have seen, especially with one particular company, requires at least one Shopper Certification.
So, can any of you smart veterans tell me what exactly a Shopper Certification is, and the process to obtain?

Thanks so much in advance.
Mike

Are you talking about a shopper certification for something like doing the post office jobs, or is the shopper certification like MSPA certification? (I'm not a veteran but hopefully, I can help.)

Shopping Arkansas, Louisiana, & Mississippi.
Thanks for your reply. When I select a shop I may be interested in, and select it to look at details, at the top of the info page, it says “applying for this job will require you to complete 1 certification survey”

Thanks,
Mike

It means you will have to take a quiz before the shop can be assigned to you. Many companies require a quiz in general or specific to the client before completing shops.

It sounds like you are using Gigspot. Log in then go to the 'companies' tab.
Click on the company that is offering the job you want.
Then click on 'my certifications' and find the one that is applicable to the shop you want. I.e general certification, Ben's Pretzels, Marathon, etc...
Thank you very much. You are correct on all counts. I ended up selecting the job, and it eventually took me to a few paragraphs to read over, and then the certification quiz. Looks like there are about 5 or 6 others to do, something for the spare time!

Thank you again,
Mike
