I've done two; the first one was approved quickly, but not as quickly as most shops this MSC has. The second one was "pending validation" for a long time, ultimately to be rejected. However, once I showed proof that I had followed the guidelines as written, the decision was reversed, but that took a long time, too.
I think a week isn't anything to worry about yet, but if it goes much beyond that, I'd contact your scheduler to see if you can get any further information. I'd just say to double check to make sure all of your steps were followed exactly per guidelines and that you can document it if needed. Personally, I think--but have zero hard evidence to support my opinion--that the guidelines as written are not quite what the client wants. I don't know if they've been changed recently or not, but there was at least one instruction that's ambiguous and one sample email that's not at all what the guidelines call for.
Just as an FYI, the MSC has apparently had trouble with client approval on these shops. I think they've sent some rejected shops back to the client for another review to see if they can be accepted.
I learn something new every day, but not everyday!
I've learned to never trust spell-check or my phone's auto-fill feature.
