hidden cam how to connect with smartphone

hi all, my job is to take photos from shelves. Today I had to check if every item is available and take pics in shopping center. It is very difficult to do this via smartphone. On the smartphone itself has a app via I have to upload the photos. So I bought a very tiny button cam but failed to connect it with my phone. As I turned wlan on it connected with the cam-therefore I had no internet. If I have connected cam via my home router I just can use the cam at home.

what cam can do the job? Unfortunately I can not take pictures and use it later on the app. It requires a live photo. Some tasks I can use the galery option on my phone, it depends on the mystery shopping app=Roamler.

how can I solve this problem?

Wondering why it is difficult to take the pics with your smartphone?
Maybe you could connect your button camera to your smartphone using Bluetooth or a cable instead of via internet?

i sent it back there was no bluetooth or cable possible. It had just usb slot to charge battery. I am now looking for a bluetooth cam but cant find one.

If you find one, let us know. I don't think that you will. Even Bluetooth 4.0 has a data transfer speed of only 25 megabits per second (note: 1 gigabit = 1,000 megabits) under ideal conditions. That is not nearly fast enough for video streaming (that is what you would be doing). In contrast, modern Wifi transfers data at 3,500 megabits per second (140 times faster than Bluetooth 4.0) and USB transfers at 10 gigabits per second.
