The company also shops the national burger chain that also sells tacos.

I had seen mentions here that other cleaning supplies were being approved and asked the Scheduler and he was adamant about only the two listed, so I'm not risking changing it up, but wow, I have a lot of dish soap.
I haven't had any issue with the pricing here. The orders always are under the $50/60 guidelines, although occasionally the substitutes or amount of meat raises it, but that seems to be covered.
@Capurato: Hi, I I did my pick up 1st today. Do you wait until end of the 2 window to take temperatures? What if it takes you longer to drive home? I see your post is from February. Thank you for taking the time to reply!
The pickup instructions are to take temps ASAP and even suggest the same parking lot, just out of visibility. I drive 2 blocks to another parking lot and take temps there.

Yes, I have ordered rolls with no problem. First time, fresh, second time, frozen. Just has to be sliced like bread or buns are. Last week I ordered Dave's Killer bread because it was on sale (lots of variety-choices). But oddly according to another poster, english muffins are not allowed. I did order a french baguette one time and was told not to again since not sliced.

I have had an issue with the ground beef or chicken not being available to order. I've had to order a marinated chicken 3 times now. Also, last week no ground beef or pork, so I had to order 1.5 pds beef chuck (min order requirement). Great for soup, chili or stew.

These scenarios are always more expensive. I just explain in the comments and have had no issue getting reimbursed the extra $. We have one family member w/ a gluten intolerance so order sour dough or gluten free bread products mostly. I just explain in the comments. Same with lactose free milk.

I keep thinking there is a issue with the meat dept. or store keeping up with what is inventory. So rare to go into a grocery store and not see ground beef or plain chicken thighs or breast in stock.

Whatever it is I'm enjoying a little variety.

Has anyone ever been successful in ordering dinner rolls instead of hamburger/hotdog buns or sliced bread? I’m getting kind of upset with the shops because as someone mentioned, the price of food has increased yet they only reimburse us up to the same $50 for our groceries. My total almost always exceeds the amount even when I get the smallest priced item. Now when I order chicken it doesn’t even allow me to choose how many pounds I want-it asked me how many packages I want. And don’t let it have a substitution-that just adds to my price.
I have So. Many. Eggs!!! I just started doing these and I’m loving them! It seems like there may be a few variations of required products - my list does not have any cleaning products, bread, milk, yogurt or ice cream. But the items I do have are ones I regularly buy and the reduction in my grocery bill is amazing, plus the delivery means I don’t have to go anywhere! I am having to get creative with recipes for apples, cucumbers and tomatoes though.

I do work for the burger/taco MSC and have never seen a WF shop in middle TN. Maybe I need to be checking more often! These shops sound like fun. Is this the only MSC that does WF or are there others?
Wow, that is so weird. What's on your prescribed shopping list? Produce? That is so completely different than the requirements I have....

Produce, eggs, ground beef, chicken, orange juice. It's a great list!

When I asked I was told no too. Since I've read others state they i've had other items approved I took the risk. I've since purchased dish washing liquid, glass cleaner, fruit/vegetable spray and some other stuff lol. I haven't purchased the cleaning product or dish soap in months. I'm waiting for detergent to go under $10 on sale so I can add that too. I've even purchase fabric softener.

I'm envious you get to do produce and orange juice!

The one thing I really can't get through living alone is the eggs. Eggs upon eggs upon eggs! Fortunately, I have a friend with three teenage boys. My mystery shopping is supplementing her grocery budget as well as my own. :-)
Yes, so the shop is ground beef, chicken tenderloins, orange juice, broccoli, shredded lettuce, tomatoes, eggs, so many eggs, spinach, bananas and apples. it's a good shop and they pay! as a new shopper my greatest concern has been spending all this money and not getting paid but hasn't been a concern yet.

I’ve been making applesauce in my instant pot - great way to use them up!

Fortunately, in my experience this MSC is super reliable when it comes to payment. :-)

I wonder if they'll ever switch it so we have that list instead of what we have now: ground beef, chicken, ice cream, cheese, yogurt, milk, eggs, bread, and dish soap or all-purpose cleaner.

Maybe because we live in such a hot part of the country, we have this list because measuring the temps for the perishable stuff is so important.
I like the original list of items, but it would be great produce and orange juice were ADDED to that.

Sigh. I have no idea what this is supposed to be. Anyone got any other hints?
Yeah, if you're in NYC, that burger with taco chain is not in your hood. In your area, it looks like a lot or storage rental, beauty product counter competitive shops for a fashion house known for quilted purses with chain straps, mall audits, and a money wiring chain.

I'm in Nashville. Do you see any Whole Food shops here? I do the burger/taco shops but want to make sure I'm with the right MSC for Whole Foods. Thanks!

It’s a one year “assignment” if you’re accepted you automatically get new shops each week. They don’t show up on the job board. I had seen 1-2 last year looking for backup shoppers and I never got selected. I can’t remember if I got an email or saw it on the job board but did get accepted for this year - my assignment started in August. I get assigned 3-5 a week.

I came in about halfway through the year as a back-up. I get about 2 shops/month, which is a good number for me. I had an unavoidable 2-week trip, so thought I was going to be replaced, but luckily when I came back I got put back on it.
its a sassie based program that they use if that helps. its hard to give away hints but I have contact with matt liasse. that should help.
I wonder if it would be appropriate to email the MSC that I'm thinking if they shop WF?

I love my Kroger shops because it helps offset the budget! I'd love to add more groceries.

I am sure that you will be able to figure this out because you are: clever, bright, smart, quick, sharp, acute, alert, rational, penetrating, enlightened, apt, discerning, knowledgeable, astute, well-informed, brainy, perspicacious, quick-witted, sagacious, and ?? Yikes - I just can't think of the perfect word! Well, time to shop for a thesaurus.
