Great news! Hopefully this round will have some lunch shops. Last time they were all dinner in my area.
I just hope that the limited-time offer is something that I like. I am hoping for lamb gyros to reappear!

For some reason, the Arby's locations in my region were not part of the the last tranche of shops that were posted. I wonder if this new posting will be nationwide?
All mine in June and early July were dine-in.

I prefer drive through. I'm still not comfy taking photos of the food in the dining room!

I am the opposite.. I like to do D/R room shops..

People take pictures of food all the time while inside the D/R ad they post on social media.

The last few times I have done them, they were all D/T..

I know during COVID I did several D/T shops or curb side pick up
@ceasesmith,

I'm not understanding why you're not comfy with this. " I'm still not comfy taking photos of the food in the dining room!"

Just sit facing away from the counter (back to the front counter). These clowns aren't paying attn to you. They don't care what you are doing. If they are busy, they are helping others. If they are not busy, they are generally on their cell phones not paying attention to what you are doing.

Taking food in a restaurant (especially photos of your soda) is a little more obvious and could be less comfortable. I really could care less what an Arby's employee thinks of me or sees me doing. Take the $ and move on. But if you are saying your preference is DRIVE-THRU because it's quicker/easier, then I agree with you on that point.
Get a Facebook account and send the pictures there. You have to set the Facebook account to invite only to see. But I would not trust Zuckerberg. They change the settings all of the time without telling anyone.
My problem may be somewhat unique. The scheduler waives rotation for me each month, because I'm the only shopper within 100 miles. smiling smiley

I fear that employees may see me taking the photos (how do you take the photo from the top, showing the full cup with no lid. without being obvious? ), month after month, and peg me as the shopper.

Because I do the same locations month after month.....and I really don't want to lose this steady source of income from shops with such a long window that I can easily work them into routes.

Their Reuben's are great but it's been about 8 years since I've seen them on the shop. I really like their gyros and the cheese steaks' sauce was really good.

People take photos of their food all the time for social media. I promise you no one's making enough money or cares enough working in fast food to pay attention to what you're doing.
just saw the posting....this time it's.......... 3 piece Hushpuppy Fish Strips

doesn't sound appealing to me
I saw one across the river in PA. I doubt they are so popular that they have all been taken already. So, maybe they are rolling them out a few at a time or regionally?

They seemed to post them one at a time here. When I first looked, there were only 2 listed. Later, there were over 20. I took one just to see what the fish tastes like.

When you do you shop, let us know what you thought about it and how much it was,

Thanks
The meal is shown as costing $7.92 (plus tax) at the closest Arby's to me. None of the South Jersey Arby's have shops yet, however.

This is the online description: "3pc premium pollock strips battered in a crispy hushpuppy coating and fried to a golden brown. Served with a tartar dipping cup. Limited time offering at participating locations while supplies last."

I went to the Arby's website and I tried to find out how much it will cost. However, it would not let me do a "pretend online order" ..

It just gave the picture and what it came with and the calorie information.

Depending on the area, it might be a little more or little less.. Thanks for letting me know..

Hopefully, they will post in my area later today

I did a shop for lunch. The fish wasn't that bad. I was pleasantly surprised by it. It wasn't overcooked and had a nice hushpuppyish flavor to it. It cost $7.43 for the combo here. There's no tax on takeout here, except for a soda tax of 14 cents.

LOL. New scheduler for me this month, and other shoppers already filled half my extremely profitable routes at base pay. I really hope they enjoy their fish!

It helps the scheduler, I suppose. And I shouldn't be surprised -- new schedulers may have access to different shoppers.

I will enjoy my fish much more when I'm doing those highly bonused shops in 2 or 3 weeks, LOL.
I did one for lunch. $7.77 including 6.625% sales tax. I was pleasantly surprised by the taste and quality of the fish. I liked it enough to sign up for another.

Arby's is not being shopped in my area this time around sad smiley

So I guess it is a regional thing if some Arby's are shopped and others are not?
I took an Arby’s shop only to get my foot in the door with the MSC and try the new fish strips. The pay was six dollars in reimbursed up to $12. After I committed, I found out you could only order the small combo which ended up being $7.48. I feel I was scammed by the MSC.

Two weeks ago, after not having shopped Arby's in 14 yrs., I received an offer approx. 1 1/2 miles from my house. As the details were sketchy, I sent a request to the scheduler, who promptly responded. She mentioned I could access the complete guidelines through an app, which removed me from consideration. It appears a SmartPhone is required for these jobs.

I'm fairly new and only recently learned about building relationships with schedulers. I was excited to get a decent offer directly from a scheduler for a JIB job! I've only had one non-base pay job, but I can already see how that would be frustrating since you had a standing relationship.

One of the apps removes me from consideration for a shop if I don't accept it when I go in to check the guidelines. It will normally appear again later that day or the next. I think it reserves the shop for someone for an hour or two when they go in and look at it.
