$3.50 Phone shops

Anyone do these a couple of weeks ago? What a joke..

Supposed to take "5-10 minutes including the report"

You needed to first check the website, then dial an 800 number so the call would be recorded (I think I'm close to the 5 minute mark now...)

Then, speak to the representative, (another 5-6 minutes) and now, the report. Typical Sassie report with a comment box at the end. (I think I'm over 15 minutes now...)

Checked the shop after it finalized and the comment was, "More comments around financing would have been helpful"

Yeah, well, more pay would have been helpful too...

We live and learn. There are some $3 phone shops that I will take all I can get because they honestly take no more than 10-15 minutes, are informative and genuinely easy. I did $7 phone shops recently that took about 30 minutes just on the phone and about an hour to write up. Needless to say I will NOT be doing those again for less than $20. Then there are some $7.50 phone shops that although they take time, are overall fairly priced on the low end side.

Typically I will not do phone shops through an outside recorded line. If a company wants to know what their employees are saying, they can put their own phones on recorded and do a proper disclosure announcement of that. If the call is just to record me, I don't want or need that. So if they want the outside recording, just omit my written report!
Right, they had the whole recording, it was accessible right on the report page!
I do alot of the $3.00 internet only or phone from home shops. I'll be passing those on to my daughter soon. She's disabled and can do these from home while I'm out doing my thing in the car.

Today I Will Choose Joy!

"Finally, whatever things are good, true, noble, lovely, of good report...if there be any virtue, if there be any praise...think on these things." ....It's a command, not a suggestion!
Well I guess the $3.50 phone shop is a little better than that $2.00 one that is out there.
I do dozens of those $3.50 shops and have the reports down pat. I actually enjoy doing them.
I like the phone shops for travel agencies through a senior citizen company. I think they are with Person to Person. They usually take about 10 minutes and pay I think around 10.00. I did some last month but can't remember the exact pay. I have never done a phone shop that paid less than 8.00.
