MSCs Upgrade your reimbursements

Out of the fast food shops offered in my area only ONE, covers the full reimbursement of the required purchase, (Hedgehog). OK if you eat there regularly. Ten shops at a dollar plus out of pocket is a nice profit dent.

I know the Raising Cane's was raised from $8.50 to $9.00. But you cannot get the 3 piece combo for $9 after tax in California. I had a 4 piece combo other day and it was high $12.xx
I can still do the fast casual hamburger joint for the reimbursement if I choose to do a veggie sandwich or grilled cheese or a hot dog. One of our local locations still allows for a little hamburger under the reimbursement limit.
I can still do a little Burger fries and drink at 5 guys under reimbursement at most of the stores around me. And the panda shops including tax and everything it's only 18 cents over reimbursement if you only get a bowl. I don't do Sonic, but my son does, he gets the foot long chili cheese coney, tots and a drink under reimbursement. And Arby's shops always seem to come in under reimbursement. TX Roadhouse never has, and I refuse to pay to work...

You're telling me that they don't give enough reimbursement for 1 person to eat at Texas Roadhouse? Or are you trying to compare all your fast food shops that have 1 meal vs a restaurant where 2 people go and you cannot feed 2 people for the amount they give? Does not seem like a fair comparison to make.

I think the bar shop or the takeout probably gives enough for 1 person to eat for the reimbursement amount.

Yes, it would be preferred if places just said, order a bowl at panda, we will cover the cost for a bowl. Order a small whatever kind of burger, small fries and small drink at 5g and we will cover the cost for that. Order 3 item chicken finger combo at RC and we will cover that. The problem is, many of these places do not even cover the minimum order requirement.

I consider Texas Roadhouse one of the best food shops, since it is a high reimbursement for a very quick, easy report. The bar and dining room shops cover dinner for two.

As long as shoppers (regardless of experience) continue to work for food or coupons, why should MSCs increase the reimbursement?

Talking about reimbursements....the gas station audits are ridiculous. One well known national brand now reimburses zero for gas, $1 for an inside purchase. I can no longer purchase anything at any of the c-stores for $1 or less. I used to get a snack, like a corn dog, for $.89. That very same corn dog is now $2.49.

They no longer seem to have the small chewing gum (5 sticks to a pack); they carry multi-packs, which are over $2.

A small coffee is well over $1. One bottle of water is well over $1.

A single, tiny can of cat food is over $2.

In short, there's nothing of value to me at the reimbursement level. It irks me!
I become guilty of this at a certain point. One example would be Texas Roadhouse. If they are going to reimburse $50 and I like the place and can feed my family for $70, then I don't mind spending $20-$30 to feed 4 people a better meal. To feed the 4 people at Chipotle it would cost me $30-$40. So am I better off by NOT taking the TXRH and letting someone else do it? At some point the "free food" becomes "worth it". For TXRH, the report is basic. Now there are shops with ACL and Coyle that even with a reasonable reimbursement AND PAY, I don't feel like writing for days, so I won't take those.

I won't do any of the intellishop freebies (chicken/subs/burgers) nor will I do any of the Marketforce feebies either (chicken fingers/hot chicken/etc). When only 1 meal is being reimbursed, i EXPECT payment of at least $10 or more.

So I guess I'm saying that if the benefit is $50 (for me), then I am will do it for NO pay as long as it does not take ALL DAY :-)

Of course I would like pay with the shop, but my choice is to "hold out" and hope they don't get taken (which they do at least in So Cal), or take the shop as is. Since TXRH will be a $50 benefit, I choose to do that.
