AT&T Audit

A MSC has asked me to do a AT&T audit, saying it may take 60 minutes and require photos. No other information is given. The pay is $60. How difficult is this to complete, write up, and and is it worth $60?

It depends. If you the location is busy with customers or understaffed you may have to wait 30-60 minutes. If this is your first audit some of the questions/task can be confusing. I recently did two for $70 each. The first one was really busy. I waited 45 minutes before I could speak with an employee. Fortunately, because the employee and I both have done this before, I was able to finish in about 20 minutes after we started. There are a few questions that can be done without assistance, and I did those while I was waiting to speak to the employee.

At the second location I was done in about 30 minutes. There were no customers and two employees. Again, both the employees and I were familiar with the audit. So experience and customer traffic make a big difference. If this is your first audit, you will probably be there an hour, and scratching your head about a few of those questions. The good part is the evaluation is easy.

There are a couple of AT&T locations I will never ever do again. They are always full of customers and I know the wait will be extreme.

1forum is correct.

The questionnaire is overwhelming and it's like "How am I ever gonna put this in a report?", but then the report is basically yes/no answers to rather complicated sounding questions.

I have now done 2. The second one took an hour on-site, half the time the first one took. The report was a breeze, I think it took 10 minutes at home on my PC.
I avoid lunch time, locations in big malls, and get there well before 5;00 pm. Most stores I audit are pretty dead late morning to early afternoon. I answer the report questions on my phone as I'm conducting the audit.
I have never had an issue with these and always try to self assign when they are offered at $50 or more.
The first time will take longer, but it is rarely over an hour. I try to plan for early afternoon, 2pm ish and when you make the reminder call in the morning, give them the estimate on your time. The manager will usually be there and relatively free. It is a lot, but print out the guidelines for your first time. The new instructions are really good on detail for when you are there. I do the questions directly into my phone to save time. There is very little writing, mostly just checking boxes and a picture of anything you see wrong.

DO NOT EVER DO FOR THE $10 BASE PAY.
I offered $250 lol for a location pretty far away and remote. REJECTED. I wouldn't do it nearby, because they're always crowded, so thanks for the info. There's still a few at $100 not too far out.
Some of the easiest audits I have conducted, took about 40 mins. (Depends upon how busy the location is and how many employees present). A big portion you can do without the employees.
