Sonic vs. Five Guys--Which is easier?

I have done quite a few of both. 5 Guys is the better meal but Sonic pays a little better in my area.

I've been getting more for 5G than what the Sonic shop is listed for, but Sonic has MAO on it, and the 5G doesn't (yet). So right now the Sonic pays more. But since I'm doing at least one other shop in the area, I'm trying to do the one that's fastest/easiest.

I have done a handful of each. For 5G, there is some training you have to do of some things to look for, and therefore I think the worksheet is just a little bit more laborious. Only a picture of the receipt is required, unless you observe some problems. The questions on Sonic’s worksheet are almost intuitively observational, but pictures of the sandwich, side item, and the receipt are required.

Thanks! That's helpful information. It sounds like Sonic might be kind of a cross between Arby's (with the photos) and 5G. I can complete 5G's survey pretty quickly now, but when there are issues--as there was today--it took me way too long. Good thing I was getting a nice fee! I think I'm gonna do a MAO on the Sonic and not wait for the 5G to get higher.

Sonic has a few timings and observations. The photos of the entree and side are easy and have to be done in the car. Sonic is easier overall.

I think Sonic are much easier overall. Yes, you have a couple more pictures to take, but there's only one narrative as opposed to several for Five Guys.
Both I can get the reports done during the shop.
Drive thru Sonic or Phone Call/Online Five Guys are great as it’s in and out for those.

Very infrequently shopping the Greater Denver Area, Colorado Springs and in-between in Colorado these days.
Sonic is shorter, but both are easy. I just got a $35 bonus, right off the board, for this weekend with the new MSC.
I know some of every single chain is better than the other, and I do understand that there are very real reasons why folks hire mystery shoppers. Although I used to like them just fine, and there was one location that I really liked, my last experience at the Sonic nearest me was so bad, I just flat don't want to go back. I know that wasn't the question, but I am not even sure how much of a bonus or how easy a report it would take to make me want to go back to a Sonic. Those things are always on the board in my area. Always.

Ended up that my MAO on Sonic didn't get accepted. I assume another shopper took it at the base of $20, since it dropped off the board. The 5G shop went to MAO, so I offered and got it. It'll be the third 5G I've done this week, and to tell you the truth, I'm getting a little tired of 5G! LOL. But the fees this week have been really, really good, so.... I'll just have to figure out what to get this time.

Sonic in my area only has a six dollar fee. I have made 2 MAO’s of $20 and none of them are accepted. The MSC currently has 28 sonic shops open implying no one wants to do them

If, in fact, the first MSC is losing the account, it would seem they have no reason to bonus.
How sure do we know if it is leaving this MSC or is it just hear say?
Or are they going to be doing both MSC?

Five Guys, IME, is less likely to require a trip to the vomitorium.
The vomitorium was so that people could eat a feast, use that particular room, then go back and eat more.

Neither are hard, but Sonic is definitely quicker. Sassie surveys are easier to scroll and I hate how you have to click next on the app for Five Guys. Plus, I hate entering (TWICE) the time in/out and info that is already present in the receipt. I also think the Sonic surveys have less questions, but yes, you have to take pictures.
Sonic much easier despite needing two more photos, but 5G pays much better, at least in my area.
Sonic just raise their fee from six dollars to eight dollars. WOW THERE ARE STILL 25 SHOPS BUT NO ONE WANTS TO DO BUT I HAVE BEEN ON THIS SITE FOR WEEKS.
In my area, both pay $25 plus. Just depends on what I feel like that day.
Better food at 5G and they usually pay better in my area. I have the worst luck at Sonic. It's like me and my car become invisible as soon as I pull into a spot.
Anybody see any Sonic shops on the old company? They've all disappeared in my area.

There's on the old MSC board 51 miles from me. They just raised it to $10 from $8.
