I would NEVER do a Walmart Netspend for $9!!!! Most Walmarts are disorganized, short-staffed and chaotic!! I've seen them in my area with a $25 Bonus, and I still won't do them! I might be enticed if the Bonus ever went up to $100.
The ones I did right before Thanksgiving were fine. The gift card displays are new for the holidays so still very organized. The shop paid $20 (no bonus)
The gas station & walgreens ones have paid $9 and are crazy easy. 5 minutes in/ out with the report done. I took a small route & filled in with those silly Visa shops nearby to make some decent $$$
I noticed that this time around, we were doing twice as much work for the same amount of small pay. This did get me upset because if they want loyal merchandisers, they have to be up front on the extra work when asking us to do the work or pay us more automatically. I am pretty disappointed in them. I've been doing these for years and years for them. I will think twice the next time I say yes when they email me. ie: 2 Netspend packages, 2 Paypal packages, and two clip strips per store.

Shopping Arkansas, Louisiana, & Mississippi.

the 2 clips strips adds time for sure... the clip strips have been in the last 2 walmart runs so hopefully it's not a permenant thing. the holiday display also adds time because they ALL have them(unlike freestanding/wall/register one which most don't have). netspend always looks so out of place on those holiday ones lol. at least it's easy though there's no denying that. well going into walmarts and dealing with the craziness isn't necessarily easy, and neither is driving around from store to store with everyone on the road shopping for the holidays.
the ones that are more awkward are the walgreens ones. most have netspend behind the register now, and we're going back there, and throwing out usually 50 cards per store(at least in my area). at least we have an LOA for that now. it is crazy how overstocked they are on netspend at walgreens, and the cards never sell behind the register lol. netspend got screwed there... the regular display is where the cards get the sales.

Yes, the walgreens usually has a ton of them full of dust.

I'm less than enthused about this as well, though I have been able to add some extra cash at some stores from the Observa stuff.
I like the Walgreen ones. In my areas, all they have is a small financial center. We have end caps and all, but they are just gift cards. Walgreens are worth the pay because they are quick. Just a lot of pictures to show there are no other cards in the store.

the financial center, yea, but in my area about half the walgreens keep the financial center directly behind the register. it's not a huge deal, most cashiers are cool, but there's always the occasional nosy one who keeps asking what you're doing, blah blah blah.

I did three of these that were behind the register. I sometimes go early Sunday mornings when it is a bit slower for store shoppers and just introduced myself and that I needed to take out the expired ones and they were like "come on in and have at it" lol

nice. it's usually like that, but if you do enough of them, trust me, it won't be smooth EVERY time. i always say the "old branded cards" because when you give them "expired" cards to throw out that don't expire until march of next year(almost everything we're throwing out expires then), it seems weird.

So, the non-loyal people get the $30 and the loyal people get the $9? Crazy.

Kind of. If you know that the price will be going up, then you don't take it at $9 and wait to see if the fee goes up. Of course, there is the risk that another shopper will take it at $9 or the next bump in pay.

Are you talking about the like the pre-pay Visa Gift Cards where there is like an $ 3.99 activation fee plus what ever you put on the gift card.. So is you put $ 50 on it, you will pay $ 53.99?

ETA: If it is I did not know they have expiration dates.. I thought it was like a regular Debit Card.. You add money to it and you can use it anywhere Visa is accepted.

No these are not 'gift cards'.. you have a monthly fee for them and you have to 'reload' money into them. One of them is a PayPal card that you link your PayPal account to.
