Naked company phone shop

The Naked company posted an apartment shop. I applied and was accepted. It said call and describe what the agent said. Sounds easy enough. Well, the complex NEVER picks up. I have made 5 calls today and always voice Mail. You are NOT to leave a name and number just keep calling. Wrote the scheduler and asked how many times I need to call- she said there is no set number- no one ever gets through- the client says keep calling and calling and see if anyone picks up. I am at wits end and agreed to do a few more calls Monday and Tuesday but after that seems like a waste of time. I have a great rating with this company hate to get my rating dropped for refusing to continue- any advice?
PS Shop fee is $8.00

Most phone shops allow you to call three times..

Depending on the company, after three times report it as no one is available or if is a target shop speak to who ever answers the phone.

ETA: The phone shops that I have done, you must call up to three times and at least two to three hours apart on the same day..

yes that has been the case with others I have done but the scheduler says I have to keep calling and calling and calling until the agent answers- taking photos of the phone to prove time of call each time. UGH. I told her I think the rental company should know that NO ONE every picks up the phone- which is something important for any mgmt company to know- but apparently, they want to torment shoppers-

After three calls on at least two different days, turn in the report and include the fact that there was no answer.
LOL.

Is that the name of the MSC.. Naked..

Since you have not name the apartment can you name the MSC name
That seems really unreasonable! I would try a few more times, then submit with documentation of how many tries you made. You might have to take a hit to your rating. For an eight dollar shop?
I don't even think I would continue. I would consider it a waste of time already and move on. You can find a better than $8 shop out there to do than to fret about this nonsense.

Also, if I had to guess on the "naked" MSC...i'm going with a Sassie company that begins with "B"

yes starts with B
in the case of the requirements for this shop bull applies
I have told the scheduler on Tuesday I am done.
I will call once on Monday and once on Tuesday then say that is all
I asked if I will be paid for my efforts if no one picks up- no reply yet

I get it now also smiling smiley
As others have mentioned, most of the MSCs have a cap on the number of call attempts they expect. However, they do not all have a cap, and some indeed expect you to continue making calls until you reach someone. I fired one MSC within the year because I wasn't into making an indefinite number of phone calls for what was supposed to have been a quick little $5.00 apartment call shop. I forgot how many calls I ended up making, but I finally canceled the shop, finished out what I had with the MSC, and haven't taken anything else with them. I no longer take assignments with the Naked company either because of similar and related experiences.

The very real thing with such, and some companies in particular, is that they will eat up time that you really should have been spending on the next and the next and the next shop, while you keep going back to this one shop that is now down to pennies on what you are going to make for your time. I mean, less than $1 an hour when they stretch out like that, and that is not even counting the report. It is not just another phone call. You have to go back and refresh your backstory and the guidelines every single time you make another call attempt, or you will end up botching the shop and having it rejected anyway, yep, been there, done that too after I don't even remember how many call attempts. And the whole time, you could have already moved on, but they are taking a perpetual place on your schedule when you could have been doing other shops that you would actually get paid for in that same amount of time. I do a fair number of phone shops, but the apartment shops are now on my ten foot pole list. The Naked company is too. I am also very wary of any assignments that don't mention a cap on the number of expected phone call attempts. How I handle it really does depend on my relationship with the MSC. But this one sure did strike a nerve. I have been burnt on such as well.

I had the same thing happen, Well, sort of. Ir was a regular shop with a phone call first, not just a phone shop. After days of calling (yes, directions were to keep calling until I spoke with someone; I believe the same "naked" company, LOL), I notified the scheduler that no one ever answered. In that case, she told me to go to the location anyway. The first question I asked (just like an angry would-be customer would, I'm sure! ) "Don't you guys ever answer your phone?" The answer? "No. We don't have time to answer the phone. I don't even listen to voice messages."

Egad. Wouldn't want to live in a complex where management makes a freaking POINT of not answering the phone! What if a resident needs emergency maintenance? Good grief.
Make one more call and submit the report. It's OK even if they give you a "1." If you have done many shops for this company, a low score on one shop is not going to affect your average much. Even if you do not have a long shop history, your time (and perhaps sanity) is worth a lot more than what the company thinks.
