Field Agent App Pay is Ridiculous for all of their jobs

Field Agent is a threat to shopper fees and is doing their best in the race to zero.

A few days ago they had jobs where you go to an assigned store and inquire about mobile plans and you get $3 for doing this. It was a two part assignment where after completing the first task, they assign you a second shop and the fee was $10. $13.00 total for visiting two different stores. I have no idea if the stores were in the same vicinity, if you got to choose the second location, how long the wait was from the first store visit and the second store, etc.

Today they have a photo audit for a membership only retailer where they estimate the task will take less than 20 minutes and the fee is $3! What?! It doesn't say how many pics you have to take, but they want shots of every 8 foot bay section of this item.

I rarely do anything on FA, but I will check it from time to time and it amazes me that FA offers these low fees and that people take it.

ETA: I originally called it "Free Agent" in error. I suppose I was thinking they want you to work for Free. Thanks @guysmom

Yyes, I agree their fees are 99% of the time very ridiculously low!

They start some that are ridiculously low. I think I saw one that wanted 44 pics for $4. They will occasionally bump up pay on some of their jobs. I've had a few that required 2 or 3 pics for $11. Not something I would go out of my way for, but if its a store I'm already at, then I'll grab it.
I agree, the pay for most of their jobs is terrible. About the only thing I do for FA are the $5+ quick photos of the house exterior. Sometimes I can park in front and take all 3 photos without getting out of my vehicle by pulling forward and backward. PS..I only do ones that are on my way somewhere or local and in ok neighborhoods...less than 1 minute time.

I consider Field Agent shops to be "add ons." If I am going to a store where FA has a low paying assignment, I will happily take it. The same with Observa.

I remember downloading the app. Then all I saw was crap. I eventually deleted the app (after several months) and never worried about it again. Or as @shopperbob would say "I terminated my relationship with them."
I had scored quite a few quick and better paying gigs pre-Rona but since then, nope. Even that occasional pizza shop got to the point where they wanted the shopper to jump through way too many hoops for that cheap hunk of dough.

Me, too. I was at a grocery store last week to pick up some items, and one of those $1.00 "are you there?" shops showed up, so I took the required photo while I was there.
i did a bunch for them in 2016-2018. at that point there were still plenty of jobs where it was a one photo kind've deal for $4. very quick gigs... they got greedier and greedier as the years went on, and i eventually deleted the app.
Incredulously as it seems, some shopper will take the job. Otherwise the company would offer a reasonable fee.

Last I knew PAD was not an option on FA. You just take their offered fee or not.

It takes time for me to submit a PAD reasonable offer, and I only do so for out of town route proposals. If PAD was not an option and the offered fee was insufficient, then I would just quickly move on to the next shop.
I think you are referring to Trendsource/thesourceagents.com

Field Agent is a separate app that pays about $3/project (not a typo!!). There is no way to request PAD or a different fee with them.
