T-Mobile Pricing Study

Hello All,

I need some advice. I was working on the T-Mobile pricing study for one of the biggest MSC's. In the guidelines it sates to visit two stores and get financing information on a new iPhone 14 Pro Max. First visit was no problem. Second visit was a Walmart (which is the store I have to visit per the shop). I visited a Walmart location convenient to my house because I can visit any Walmart per the the guidelines. This location does not have any iPhone 14 Pro Max phones in stock, therefore for whatever reason they could not provide financing information. I submitted the shop saying as such. I received a note from the editor that I have to visit another location for the shop to be accepted. I emailed the scheduler stating nowhere in the guidelines does it state if a location is unable to provide financing info I must visit another location that can. She confirmed the statement from the editor saying I had to visit another Walmart. The other brand that I shopped first ALSO did not have the phone in stock and was still able to provide financing so I feel like this is probably not an issue, but a Walmart training/employee issue. I feel like this is somewhat BS since the shop was completed per the guidelines. I really want to take issue with this higher up than the scheduler and squak about it, but feel like they have so many shoppers they would probably just drop me. I do not really want that to happen since they pretty much have a monopoly on the industry now....What say everyone???

They won't drop you, but you won't be paid.

I picked up a Presto 'prepaid' recommendation shop at Walmart since I was there grabbing a prescription. The directions state to ask an employee for their recommendation on a prepaid phone. It was a Saturday in a busy Walmart... the only thing the employee did was ask me which phone I wanted unlocked from the case. When I said I wasn't sure she told me to come get her when I decided. She went on to help the next 10+ people in line.
I did not get paid because I did not get a recommendation.....

I only pick up these kind of shops if I'm already there, knowing if they pull this type of crap I'm only out a few minutes of my time.
@luckygirl0100 Does this shop require you to take pics of the various prepaid phone plans and phones and the pay is a little better than the regular Electronic Mystery Shops? I did a Walmart phone shop a couple of weeks ago, Maybe it isn't fair to judge based on one location, but I found the polish and professionalism lacking with the Walmart employee if you compare it to a salesperson at T-Mobile, AT&T, and Verizon.

The visit took longer than a regular EMS and there was only one other customer in Electronics buying a tv. The employee had basic knowledge, but I didn't gather that they cared either way if I purchased a phone or not.

It paid $15 (base) I think I eventually saw them for like $18 but I knew what the outcome would be and said f it.
