Anyone Wish the Whole Foods Shops Would End?

Some of us are in the ask forgiveness rather than permission mindset. Some shoppers have been doing this particular shop for a very long time. I have purchased all sorts of items within the different categories. I did stop purchasing other brands after they seemed to clamp down on that. I have purchased 365 hand soap, body wash, shampoo, dish soap, all purpose cleaner, tub and tile cleaner and possibly more. I have not run into any issues with an editor questioning my purchases.

Yes and this thread was started prior to the change asking us only to order 365 so if you are new to shopping this market it is much more restrictive than it used to be. So in the thread other brands are mentioned however I personally have not gone off brand since a few months ago they have asked that we order only 365. And I did check the guidelines and they have been changed as well telling us we have to order 365 unless they are totally out of stock.
A few months ago I discovered my store has a 365 brand of mozzerella that is fresh rather than the tasteless blocks that all look the same. Glad to find that for a change. I do not know about everyone else but the "search" in my store really does not work. If i search for fresh beef I get 23 pages of anything they sell that has the smallest amount of beef flavoring in it and many items with no beef at all. The actual beef is scattered with one item on each page. I am thinking someday I will walk into the store and see what they actually have and make a list so I can target those items. My store is small so has less variety than others.
I did this for over a year but recently got kicked because schedule Matt Liasle threw a hissyfit. He's done this 3 times already to me. He is extremely unprofessional and unstable. I was going to write up a complaint but frankly its not worth it with that headcase

Are you using the top bar to search groceries and choosing Whole Foods? Have you tried searching 365 beef? Your store really does sound like a weird one off!
Those are pretty strong accusations. What exactly did he do?

he removed me from the shops after scoring straight 10s for over a year and following all instructions for no reason other than his ego
I do not understand what you mean by that. His ego? Was he jealous of your scores? There must have been some interaction followed by your removal.

That’s why I have so much dish detergent. I use it and I share it with my dad. Since he’s heavy with his use that works out. I shared the glass cleaner with my neighbor and he was excited

I am waiting for the next exciting opportunity!
There's also 1/2# rounds of 365 packaged cojita cheese and queso fresco that I've been ordering without issue. Might have to go looking for the fresh mozzarella. ..

The "fresh" kind of near fresh. Not like the cheese floating in water but not the plasticy block of mozz they sell. It comes in a round package. Last time they subbed out the mozz and sent me mozz medalians which were little flat circles floating in water but they did not have much flavor. They prob would not qualify as not a block but they were not tasty. I will look for the other cheeses. I think my store may have feta but i was afraid it was not solid enough but if cojita passes then feta should as well.
If anyone has gotten by ordering english muffins let me know. To me they are sliced bread but the word muffins to someone who does not eat them means a sweet bread so???
English muffins are not sweet muffins in cups, they are more like scones, but made with decidedly unsweet yeast bread, some are even made with sour dough. Some come sliced, but they don't usually toast very well in the toaster. The best English muffins are not pre sliced, you use a fork to pull them apart at the seam, then they toast up nicely.

Have you ever had an egg McMuffin sandwich at McDonald's? That bread is an English muffin, only non McDonald's versions are much more flavorful and delicious, especially when you make them into a similar breakfast sandwich..

The english muffins they sell at 365 are presliced and it is definitely in my mind a kind of bread dough although a lot bumpier which is why they are so great toasted where the bumps get crispier than the lower part of the surface. I asked the scheduler once if I could order them as they are a bfast bread and not a (sweet) muffin but was told no. Since then I was able to order bagels so i think if bagels are ok english muffins should qualify as well. Both are round, bready, slightly sliced and an indiv serving.
Several people have asked what company has Whole Foods but no one has answered. Why the Gatekeeping? Will someone please just share?
The rules of this Forum and the confidentiality agreements we each sign with the MSCs prevent us from telling you. Some people provide hints, but some people do not choose to do even that.

Shopping Southeast Pennsylvania, Delaware above the canal, and South Jersey since 2008

Really, the best thing anyone can do is to recommend you to sign up for as many companies as you can. Check out the discussion of the different companies on the board and sign up for the ones that are discussed the most. After that, just read as much as you can. You might pick up on a hint.

Regarding this shop in particular, you will very rarely ever see a posting. Unlike others, this shop assigns a shopper who basically does it until they quit or get fired. So, if there are three Whole Foods in Detroit and three shoppers already have these shops you'll not see them posted. So, back to the original advice - sign up for as many companies as you can and just keep reading here to learn more.

Currently having an issue. No ground beef coming up. Nor is any pork, turkey, steak, beef or roast. I think there might be an issue going on. Is it acceptable not to have an item if they are all seemingly out of stock?

Thanks!
My store never has ground anything so I order stew beef which can be ordered for a half pound. It does not come up when you search for beef or meat. Try searching for stew beef to see. The last time they had no stew beef I was given permission to order another $$ cut that had a 1 lb minimum. If there is no packaged there meat at all even with a 1 lb min email your scheduler and ask for permission to either get a pound or ask what you should do. The scheduler always gets back to me quickly on these types of questions,
This store shows up twice for me, One in May and one last week...I signed up as quick as I see it, and both time Matt decided to give it to someone else....Feeling sad about it but what can I do? lol
Mine literally is showing no beef in stock or pork, or turkey, etc.

I had recalled you mentioning stew beef before and that isn't coming up either. No steaks, no roasts, no beef. Only vegetarian meat options are coming up.

This just out. Amazon will charge for Whole Foods delivery if less than $150. It does not start until Feb 2024 though.

An update in case anyone else is in this position - their cooler broke down and most meat options were not available. I let the schedule know and didn't hear anything back. In the end, the job was accepted without an issue and I got a 10 so not a big deal.

Thanks Olympia for letting us know. This strengthens my belief that most of the msc, at least the ones I work for, will consider circumstances and not just ding anyone, not pay and turn in the report as some shoppers on this forum report. I am not saying it never happens and there certainly are some bad companies out there. Today I just found my report was accepted with a different msc where I did not follow the rules but had a good reason in my thinking not to. I explained it all in comments but still did not expect to get paid however as of this morning the shop was approved without them even contacting me further.

The best hint I can give you is the company sounds smart, intelligent actually

Same scheduler kicked me too. I had no electricity during the day of my shop because of a power outage after a storm. So for something behind my control, I was kicked from the program
Wow no ground anything that’s something! When the project first started they were always out of the counter but they always substituted it with a better quality in a 1 lb pack so I was quite happy.

The meat department refrigerator went down so there was no fresh meat available to order.
