Cash app or Veho as payment options?

Not that I am not grateful that mystery shopping has moved up from mailing me checks, but PayPal and me don't seem to get along. Is there any companies that offer payments via cash app or veho or one of these?

Not that I know of - and I think you mean Venmo. Both of those services are for exchanging money between people one knows. It would be weird and could seem unprofessional for an MSC to pay shoppers that way. There are MSCs that offer direct deposit, however.
I have now encountered a few MSCs that use Zelle. Once set up, Zelle is essentially Direct Deposit into my bank account.

I've seen some use Zelle, like noted above.

I'm not a huge fan of paypal and have heard some horror stories about it, but since I have it established, I have a rule that once any money hits paypal, I transfer to my bank account asap.
I know of one company which is very small and only does fine dining shops (mostly around philly but some in NY and DC and he recently mentioned one in Miami and one in Spain). He pays via Venmo -- that is why I have an account set up. there are definitely a few that pay EFT into your bank account.
I've had a PayPal account for over 20 years and have no horror stories to tell. I have always, however, transferred my money into my bank account right away.
Same as shopnyc. All is good with Paypal for me.

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
I have used PayPal for decades and have never had a problem of any type. I often let funds build up to $500 and then transfer then, but that is simply my preference.

I have neither experienced nor has anyone I know ever mentioned a problem with Pay Pal. I have used my account on several occasions throughout any given week for almost 20 yrs.
I've had only two problems in more than 23 years of using PayPal. My accounts were frozen, and I couldn't pay a bill. This was an error on PayPal's end, and they fixed it quickly. And somebody made a couple of large purchases and paid for them out of my PP account, using my bank account as a payment method (not taking money out that was already there, since I don't keep a balance in it). Fortunately, both my bank and PayPal found and fixed the issue immediately.

I do immediately transfer funds out of PayPal to my bank account. I've known people who have had their PayPal accounts hacked and have lost the cash funds that were in there. I know somebody who's in the midst of a dispute with PayPal; they confiscated around $2,000 of payments made to her, and which she had kept in her PP account, because they suspected her of fraudulent sales or something--when, in fact, she's a responsible, ethical seller. She's been fighting them for months.

I think it's wise to transfer money out of PP as soon as it hits your account!

I like Zelle, though, too. Not Venmo, though. But those really are for personal or bank-to-bank transfers of money, not for business.

STAY AWAY from BIG, BAD ZELLE!!!

Don't you think the problem is more one of the people who are allowing themselves to be scammed--sending or taking money from strangers? Zelle is very clear that you should not do transfers with people you don't know. Why would anyone do this type of direct transaction, using Zelle or Venmo or any other cash-type app, with a complete stranger? Zelle, as the largest of these apps, would of course have the highest number of fraudulent transactions.

As soon as you log in to Zelle, you see a message: "Only send money to people you know and trust." If Zelle is telling people to not use it with people they don't know, and they go ahead and do, I'm not sure why Zelle or banks should be held responsible.

If you don't know someone, don't do a direct cash transfer of any kind with them. Period.

I use Zelle every month to transfer funds from one account to another one I've got in a different bank. So, basically from me to me. Much better than paying for an old-fashioned wire transfer. Once in a blue moon, my sister and I will use Zelle to send each other money. Never had any problems. It's the big bad scammers one has to watch out for!
