Is this a revealed audit? And if so can you do future mystery shops at the location? I would think this would make you stand out whether it is revealed or not.
This is a mystery shop. You are not to reveal yourself. I don't know how anyone could do this as a mystery shop.
No, I would not, but, were I desperate, probably yes.
I saw this shop. I don't know how it could possibly be done as a covert shop, which is what is required.

Shopping South Jersey, Southeast Pennsylvania, and Delaware above the canal since 2008
I saw this as well and I thought that the expectation to get this done covertly was ridiculous. Some of those places are very small with one or two salespeople on site. Obviously they would see what you were doing. There is the one provider where they always want them to do door dazzle by opening the door for the customer.
Unrealistic.
Not to mention that some of these stores are so traumatized from being constantly robbed that I'm sure they would seriously freak out if someone were lurking suspiciously around their displays, counting items, etc. measuring the distance from the door to the display. ???
Yikes! Question: Who thinks up this stuff? Answer: Someone who doesn't have to perform it.

I did not think about this. They could throw you out of the store or call the police. You could never enter that store again. No more mystery shops for that store.
