Lowes Garden Hose Assignment

Has anyone done the Lowes garden hose project? The details indicate the assignment is checking for damaged hoses. A location near me is now paying $60 for the visit. Do you think the visit is worth it?

Thank you!

I think there might be another thread on these.
My opinion - based on a very recent experience, I will likely not take on projects that involve getting things out of pallets, back rooms, stock rooms, etc. I am now of the mindset that some of these things should be done by people who are covered under work comp insurance, not people on a one and done flat fee project.

It is hard to know the condition of every store - some stores might have the hoses out already or pallets already, some might not. It could wind up being a very easy visit, or one that requires some major elbow grease on your part.
I dropped the locations I had. There's over 100 hoses at each location is 4 separate palettes that all have to be completely deconstructed and reconstructed after you tape up every single hose they have. It's not worth it unless they offer me 150 per store.
That's insane for $50 or $60. I'm doing a gas station shop today for $50 and a $5 reimbursement that requires far less work. Granted, the gas station starts at $10 and is bonused up, but still.

Ive done these. There are 4 crates with 36 per crate. They usually put all 144 out on the display at one time. When I did them it only paid $20. I only had to fix the damaged ones, which totalled about 8 per store.
Now they pay $40 ( where I live) and all 144 must be repaired. That isn't worth it. The $20 shops took maybe 20 -25 mins, now well over sn hour. Plus you must buy only one of two brands of tape they allow. You'll get reimbursed, but one store was sold out so I hsd to stretch the tape
When I saw the job board posting, I visited bigboxstore.com 's website and searched for the brand name to get an idea of how many were in stock at a specific location. Close to 200 in stock on each one of the various SKUs for the brand. I backed away very quickly from the MSC site. Using technology to work smarter!

Smart! using a store app to check inventory or what aisle something is in can make things go much faster on some projects!
