Gas station colors

I'm SO confused by all of the colors and trying to figure out what stations are what. Without mentioning MSCs, can we list colors and names as a cheat sheet. I understand, of course, that many are regional. IE yellow with red=Shell

I agree.

What is the Indian gas station? I can think of five gas stations that are red and blue -- Mobil, Exxon, Chevron, Arco, and Marathon.
It is interesting when someone says red and blue and we're all supposed to know which one they're talking about. Or even green. There's two major companies that are green. There are also multiple brands that could be considered blue and white.

And then the ones that are STARS, Image or Customer First. I have no idea what I am. So I have to open the email and hopefully it says if XXX then you are disqualified.
Chevron, shop names are Stars, Image and Customer First. They are blue and red.
Mobil's logo in the way back machine was a red Pegasus (flying horse). Mobil is blue with a red O.
Esso and Exxon used to have tiger logo. They are blue and red also.
BP is green and yellow with a stylized sun burst logo that they call Helios.
Marathons are blue, red, and white stripes with their strange paralellogram shape. I don’t remember any animals or other logos for them.
Arco is also red, white and blue, but they have that silly quad square star burst red thing, that used to be orange in the wayback machine.
Are Shamrock stations still out there? Its been a bunch of years since I have seen them. They were green with yellow letters and had a 4 leaf clover. But I don't know if they still exist.
Gulf stations arecorange and blue.
Conoco are red and white
Phillips 66 stations have a highway sign in black and white ( route 66).
Sinclair are red and green and have green dinosaurs
76 stations are orange and blue also, but they are owned by Conoco.
Valero are turquois or teal, yellow and white with a squiggle ( I think it's supposed to be a road).

Ok, that's all that I am familiar with, having lived most of my life in CA, and traveling for a month every year in the summer by car with my dad's family all over the country (until I was old enough to know better). I'm sure I have missed some East coast only stations that I simply dont remember.

Thanks to @Morledzep for that fine lesson in fuel shop distinction!

And Texaco stations are linked with the Chevron shops. Red circle with a white 5-point star on top of the red circle and a red "T" on top of the white star.
Lol purple, I don't even think about Texaco. I get mad at myself when i accidentally schedule one.
Sunoco is an elongated yellow diamond with a red arrow piercing it. Blue Sunoco letters inside the diamond.
Do a google (or preferred search engine) search for "gas station logos USA" and you will find some handy pics
I am so glad you posted this - I schedule some of those gas station shops and can never figure out which ones folks are talking about smiling smiley

I very much wish that the actual shops when you look at them said which one of those they were, it would be so much easier for everyone.
