Changes to Sonic report.

Looks like they made some changes to the Sonic reports:

- No longer asks for the time you left.

- Asks for a specific count of cars, instead of a range.

- Asks if an apology was offered it speaker time was over 20 seconds, or food delivery time was over 5 minutes.

- Asks to confirm speaker time if over 1 minute, or food delivery time if over 14 minutes.

- No longer asks about what you added/removed from your entree/drink.

- Added questions about carhop's attire (nametag, hat, shirt, pants).

- Asks if carhop told you the cost. (Seems like an unnecessary question as many (most?) people self-pay, and if you don't self-pay, the carhop is undoubtedly going to tell you the cost.)

- Asks if you received a receipt, or were offered one. (I think this used to be "Did you receive a receipt, or were you provided one after asking?", so now it requires a "No" if you have to ask for it.)

Plus a few other minor changes/additions.

Can you still make alterations to the order? I eschew lettuce in the vicinity of hot foods (or on any sandwich for that matter) and love me some extra limes in my Diet Cherry Limeades. That requirement was an attractive aspect for this client.

What about a bathroom check? That's my biggest issue. I doubt any real customer ever uses the restroom at a Sonic. I know I would never think of a restroom at a place with no inside customer areas.

Have synthesizers, will travel...
Interesting, thanks for the heads up. I have learned to read those shops requirements before I do them. Once I thought I was doing a drive in stall but I was supposed to order through the app and pick it up in the stall. Those mistakes are costly. They like to mix it up a bit.

I have actually been pleasantly surprised on the bathroom checks. Sonic is definitely not a place I had ever considered using as a pit stop before, but now my long stretches of roads, through small towns in the South, options have increased.

You can still make the same alterations, and they still ask about the bathroom.
Drive thru shops don't require a bathroom check.

A little nonsense now and then, is relished by the wisest men.
Appreciate the heads up. I've done so many Sonic shops that I don't always review the guidelines. This is a good reminder to always read over the guidelines.
Thanks for the heads up. There seems to be changes every month. In the narrative, they only wanted comments outside of the questions asked. Last month, they wanted more. i gave the usual 1-2 sentences. I got a 9. Next report had more descriptions. Back to 10.

Do not read so much, look about you and think of what you see there.

Ya know...strangely enough the sonic restrooms are (on the whole) among the cleanest ones I've had to evaluate . Church's restrooms require a HAZMAT suit.

Yep. Whenever they start getting bonused I first look at which ones are drive-throughs; same pay for less time (usually) and less work;

I've had opposite experience - on average, Sonic has the greatest % of 'utterly disgusting/HAZMAT suit' bathrooms in any chain I've ever see. And I've done numerous gas station shops as well! (it's not a majority of locations, but they definitely are the leader in #/%)
