One Chip Retrieval Shops...$$$$$$

Nothing to be nervous about. Company is totally legit. Only issue is they are freaking slammed with this project, so followup communications are not good. Phone support, when you can reach someone, is absolutely top-notch. This gig is pretty easy work for very good money, especially if you have credit cards that pay cash back. I've already racked up over $1k in credit card rewards.

Another reason I like this gig: they just sent me $1k out of the blue!

While I'm sure it will be attributed against the reimbursements they owe me, there is currently no reckoning for the amount on the website.

I'm taking the reimbursements and sticking them in my PayPal savings account currently paying 4.3%.

My next wave early next week I'll pay with my Apple MC which won't be due until November 30. Should be able to earn at least a month's interest on thousands of someone else's dollars. Gotta love it!

CoolMusic - Have you accepted any of the "Priority" locations they are offering at $30/store? Curious because I just completed a round of these and the expense form is only showing $20/Store. I emailed them, but wondering if anyone else is seeing this discrepancy.

Yes, I did 3 of the "Priority" $30/location. Mine is correct.

My Expense History shows (as one row in a table, just posted this way for ease of reading):
Locations 3
Location Rate 30.00
Location Expense 90.00

Below that it has (again one row in a table...):
Activity Hours 0
Wage Rate 20.00
Hourly Expense 0.00

Is this your very first round of these? Or have you done other rounds at the $20/location that you could check it against? Or check your Expense Confirmation email.

If you're doing 10 of the Priority locations, they are advancing $100/store.
Hi - Nope, it definitely just shows $20/location on the expense report I just submitted. I pasted their offer email showing $30/store in the notes, so hopefully they read those. And they originally sent $20/store as the advance, but when I asked them to correct it to $100/store they did so immediately. So thats good!
The radius is starting to get bigger in my area. I had an offer for stores 70 miles away today.

Yesterday I did 8 of the priority shops. I purchased 352 units of chips!! Good grief, so glad I purchased boxes ahead of time and I packed as I went to each store. I made sure to write the store location and units purchased on the inside flap of the box. It really helped to stay organized.

Despite me calling my credit card ahead of time, I still got a fraud alert and had to stop and call them. Took 10 minutes on the phone with the fraud unit to get them to unlock my card. The 7-11s show up as gas purchases. The man was like.. ma'am, what are you doing with all of that gas? Lmao. I had to explain before they put me on some terrorist list.

I only see two stores left in my area but 70 miles away. Too far for just two stores.
@Datagirl, that's genius! What size boxes are you using?

I signed up for 2 yesterday and e-mailed my ACH information for the $100 advance. I have not received any confirmation or correspondence from them as yet. Is it because of the weekend?
They don't often reply to the Advance Request emails. Usually the advances just show up via ACH 48 hours later. Monday is a bank holiday, so you'll likely see this on Tuesday.

I was texted about one priority shop over the weekend. It was pretty far and I wound up doing the hourly pay. The store didn't have any product and the manager said they were emailed by their corporate office to destroy the products.
I did 10 of the priority shops over the past five days. There were a TON in my area five days ago, but I haven't been able to see any new locations since accepting those first 10 (although the emails about shops in my area keep coming). I just shipped the last two boxes of product to them today. Does anyone know how long after shipping the product back that you can see available shops on the board again? Hoping the project hasn't ended.
@grrldude, you have to submit your expenses for that project before you can see more locations. You can see the other project, just not the Priority if you haven't submitted expenses.
Yikes, for the last 8 locations I did I should have taken the hourly rate. Each store had over 100 units of chips, mostly loose boxes. It took a long time at each store to get the products rounded up and do the checkout. Packing and reconciling took hours as well.
I had the same issue. My first trip surprised me with a $467.13 for 48 items. To say the least I was worried about having enough in my account with only receiving the advance of $140. It was at the first of the month and mortgage etc.
I sent a email to Tom Kowalski. He quickly sent another advance.
Hopefully, you can do the same.
I'm a new rep with this company, so hopefully all will go well.

Good luck!
Thanks, Linda! I submitted my expenses on Sunday morning, but the response was probably delayed because of the holiday. Hoping to see more tomorrow!

I submitted my expenses, refreshed the screen, and saw new locations immediately.
I did 10 in one route (after 11 gas stations).
Has anyone used their loyalty reward card when making the purchase? I have not seen any information about using it or not using it.

Since most of these are gas stations it would be nice to accrue some reward points.

The entire in store visit is done on the app.

Thanks. I am struggling to get logged into the app. I have uninstalled and re-installed and checked permissions. Now waiting to hear back from support.

There is an email with a link to download the app. In that email it gives instructions to set up an account for the app. You do not use the same autogenerate login information that is used to access the website.
Hope this helps.
Most of my stores have been 7 Elevens. Apparently, they have some sort of a rewards program. Pretty much the only time I ever go in a 7 Eleven is for a job, so I am not a member, but I'm pretty sure some of the clerks have entered there own rewards number on my recall purchases and it doesn't seem to have caused any problems.

Angie, I have worked for this company for 10 years and they are an excellent company. That said, any company can unexpectedly go under so I wouldn't want to have any company owing me too much. So far they have given me prompt reimbursements for over $10K in purchases. However, I am still waiting for a response for reimbursement on the last two days I worked, so I am holding off spending more until I hear from them.
Be diligent about checking for fraudulent charges. I got a couple of fraudulent online charges on my credit card the day after I paid for a bunch of chips at 7-11. The ironic thing was the 7-11 was flagged by the card company as fraudulent but not the actually fraudulent online charges. I'm not exactly sure how someone got my CC number but I kind of suspect it was from these convenience stores.

And check for double transactions. Early on in this project my credit card companies were freaking out, and it made for some confusion at the counter on occasion. I'm currently disputing a double charge for over $500.

Does anyone have a time frame for being reimbursed? I sent in expenses 9/29 and havent gotten anything yet, although in the shop it says "paid" but also says status is "open". And I don't have a person to email!
