Wawa Increased Reimbursement

The reimbursement was finally increased, just in time for Gobbler season. I wish they would add bowls to the list of acceptable items.

I looked this morning and it seemed to be the same $$. But there was a pizza shop for last weekend with a $14.50 reimbursement.
The one that I completed last evening had a stated reimbursement of $8.50 and all of the ones (except for pizza) show the same $8.50 reimbursement. BTW, $8.50 does not cover the cost of a classic gobler even before tax, but it is a great discount!

My understanding is that they all have pizza now. I suspect that there might be some that don't, but all the ones near me now have pizza. They did test marketing in PA earlier this year, and it was successful There are online reviews, and the ones from credible NJ reviewers say that it won't be mistaken for really good pizzeria pizza, but it is better than any of the pizza chains. I am looking forward to trying one. They take at least 20 minutes from ordering to being ready since they are made fresh in the store. The shops seem to require ordering them on the app, but they can also be ordered using the touch-screen if the MSC permits doing so.

The $8.75 will cover the junior Gobbler and a few other products like paninis. They really dragged their feet increasing the reimbursement. Yet, all the prices increased twice since the last increase, and the extras prices have doubled. I used to add roasted vegetables to a quesadilla at 75 cents. They went up to $1.50 and now $2 for a spoonful of veggies. Now I can add those back on.
You're right! They do show $8.50! I have a pizza one tonight so we will see how that goes. Someone took the Wawas close to me unfortunately for the standard items. I was going every other week for the turkey cali breakfast panini because it let me sign up so frequently, but finally toward the end I got a pop up stating I completed too many in one quarter. I was going back and forth between two locations and I think it's 3 times per location/time frame per quarter? But I'm craving that breakfast panini again and it's around $7.50 with tax.
I came back to add that I was not impressed with the cheese pizza. For $14 it did not wow me. I could barely taste the garlic on the crust. I also like a thicker crust. I would jump a lot higher for basically any other pizza chain. I would even go out of my way to get a hot and ready at LC for half the price. I'll keep doing the standard Wawa shops though.
