Entire day of virtual call shops cancelled after starting.

Hello,
Just curious if this has happened to anyone else. I was assigned to mutiple virtual call shops last week for what seems to be a major MSC that were rescheduled to this week because the client wanted changes.

I just spent my morning making all ten of my first calls (you have to make 3 for each one), was in the middle of my second calls, and had even completed a couple and submitted the survey when they all disappeared.

I got an email from the company apologizing for the inconvenience but the client wants additional changes so they have all been cancelled. Just disappeared.

I did all the prep work and spent time calling. Shouldn't a reputable company provide some sort of compensation? Or is that just wishful thinking.

Frustrating.

Edit: They advised that they will pay me 50% which I think is more than fair! And I did not even have to ask.

That sounds shady. They should give you some compensation. But will they? I don't know.
That's so wrong on every level! I hate that happened to you. I hope they pay you for your time and energy.

Shopping Arkansas, Louisiana, & Mississippi.
I agree, they should compensate you. I fear it's wishful thinking
