Kroger Posted

Obviously pick up shops are easier than the instore shops and they pay $32 in groceries SO everyone if they could would take ALL PICK ups and pass on the instore shops which I find foolish at times. Looking to see if the associate made eye contact, smiled or a combination of those items is rather foolish- often the payment process is so quick that you cannot stand there assessing if the cashier or bagger was smiling, making eye contact or greeting you. Same with the produce man- when they are unpacking produce they do not have time to stop, look around smile and make eye contact while they greet people. I prefer them to be working and not looking around! I look at everything required on all shops. A friend went me once and was amazed that I actually pick up packages of meat to look at them and open the milk area to see if the inside is clean and what the dates are. But, I do. What I find hard is the eye contact, smile and greet stuff- as I when I am trying to enter my number into the device to get points I do not have time to be staring at the cashier or bagger and as I usually buy only a few things the process is quick. To be honest I prefer cashiers who are fast and not standing there smiling at people. If a cashier is not rude then I am happy-whether they smiled at me or not.

Balancing in store and pickup is a different question (I have been advised that it's checked twice per montly cycle). You may now be blocked from self-assign if you haven't followed that policy.

Maybe our scheduler is just better at communicating than in other regions. Even so, a few months ago I messed up with the instore/pickup monthly balance since I logged on late and a lot of the instores were already gone, but pickups had just been added. So several of my self-assigned pickup shops were removed and I got a "banning" email. I was reinstated after performing more instore shops and am now able to self-assign up to the cycle limit as long as I can stay balanced. Harder now that no instore and pickup same day/same location.

The annual limits are a different animal... And I am not sure when it resets, hopefully Jan 1.
"The annual limit for self-assignment is 15 per year for in-store shops at the same location and 8 per year for pick-up shops at the same location." Schedulers are allowed to override this. I think I remember an email asking us to space our shops out over the year.

There are only a few locations where I am approaching these annual limits. I can sort my "payment history" on the website by address, to see where I am close or over the annual limit.

I have a situation. Has anyone else done a pickup shop where, after you checked in on the app and received your groceries, the app continues to show only check in. I am unable to download a receipt.

I had that happen once. It took a while but the receipt finally was there.
Yes once due to Kroger's system being down at the store. From the browser, Log In and look under Purchase History then Purchase Details. There should be a link for View Receipt. I did have a delayed receipt once and shot my scheduler an email. They may extend your deadline a day and then if it still doesn't appear let them know again. Hopefully you have a record of your order number. ( In the end she let the QA editors know since the receipt was generated eventually but was also incorrect).

This happened to me last night. I took screenshots of the order confirmation and submitted the report with them, and it was approved. It still shows as "check in" status as of this morning, both in the app and on desktop browser.
You might expect issues today as well. I’m trying to view/load any new coupons that became available in the last day or so and the whole coupon section is down with a banner message on top of the page stating so.
