I was online BEFORE the pickups posted, before the instore shops posted too. I didn't miss them. There is no lag time here, if you want the shops you have to be online when they post. For the inside shops too, the only ones that linger are the rural TN shops just over the state line. The fuel shops go last, usually.

Funny you mentioned about the shops in rural TN, I'm moving to rural TN in a couple months, and I have been watching the shops in the area I'm moving to. They linger on the board for weeks and usually get well bonused. I'm looking forward to not having to sit on my computer waiting for shops to be posted, I can get them at my leisure and hold off on some until the pay rises.
hamp, I wish you luck! If I had a fuel efficient car, or any car at all at this point, I might consider going up there from time to time, especially toward the end of the year when I've rotated myself out of most of the local shops.
I, too, was online before the pickups (or any of the Kroger shops) posted. I picked up 2 competitor in-store shops first and no Kroger in-store shops (not even the bonused ones) by choice. Then, when they posted, I took only 2 competitor pickup shops and left the others because I simply did not like them. The Target pickup shop that I did not like sat on the board for more than a day. My guess is other shoppers had bad shopping experiences there like I did.

Logic suggests NO, but is it acceptable to shop in-store the same location more than once a period?

Bob, you can. If you consistently shop at the same store locations each round, it's a bad idea, because you only get to shop the same location 15 times per year.
They need to be at least 3 days apart, but yes you can shop the same in store 2x per cycle.

I've done it a few times.
It was a mixed bag for me today. I got both fuels and both Kroger pick-ups, but I missed out on most of the competitor pick-ups, especially at the store that I really wanted. I got one Target and one Walmart. They went flying off the board. A positive, though, was that the website seemed to function perfectly.

I was surprised to see competitor instores again this month, I did get one and a Fuel. Maybe I just never looked for competitor instores every month. I did not see competitor pickups.

Unless they haven't dropped for my area yet, I didn't see ANY in-stores. There were way more pick-ups than what I usually see, though.

Edited: Nope, they've dropped. There were zero in-stores in my area. Interesting.

Oh no, I think I hit that magic number. I logged on, but didn't see any Kroger shops posted. Didn't even see the tile. I had a bad feeling something was acting up, because the reschedule function was taken away on all of my shops.
Oh, dear. Were you a frequent rescheduler, Okie?

I assume you mean you didn't see any competitor instores. In our area they post as Grocery Purchase scenario, so after using "list" so if you sort by Scenario you can find them by scrolling down. They do disappear right away.

Did you have competitor pickups last month? We had them last round so didn't expect them this time.

They had been on a 3 month rotation but I think the shift in cycle dates threw the rotation off. The used to vary which region got them per cycle. I know some people said they did not get any last time.

Okie, did you follow the one instore for each pickup last month? If not you may be in trouble. If you did, try again and if they still don't show, shoot your scheduler an email.

I cannot reschedule multiple times on a cycle. Maybe once but not twice.

You just need one in store for every pickup but it isn't calculated over a year. They did not need to be for the same location. (I was told they might check twice a month but don't know how that works exactly).

Yes ask the scheduler, it could be some other reason. They might be able to put you on a probation, let you do a few instores and one pickup.

I edited my original post because I said in-store when I meant pick-up.

No, we didn't get ANY in-stores here, period.
(Edited to delete because I'm a doofus and mis-read.)

We didn't have competitor pick-ups last month; I don't recall if there were any the month prior. Probably not, because we seem to go several months in between. I've NEVER seen a competitor in-store here, only pick-ups. The only competitors that are shopped are Target, Walmart, and HEB, never Aldi.

So you didn't even have Kroger instores? That is strange.

Nope, not a single one. I was on the site when everything dropped. The pick-ups always go first, and the in-stores usually linger a few hours. I didn't see any of them.

How could one have a 1:1 ratio if there’s nothing for in store?
This has got to be the fastest I have seen them fly off the boards. Almost everything I clicked had a sorry pop up. I’m going to be doing some weird locations this time.

Beats me. I'm not going to worry about it, though. I've always thought the whole ratio thing was silly. Nobody else says, "Sorry, you can't do this shop until you do enough of these others." If they upped the reimbursement on the in-stores (like they should), they wouldn't have to make a mandate to get people to do them.

It appears I've reached the magic max number of Kroger self schedules on my four local in-stores and pickups. I was able to grab the Aldi and Walmart jobs and fuel jobs, plus one out of town Kroger pickup that will help defray the cost of going over there.
In the meantime, most of my local in-stores are already gobbled up. I think I hit the number early, because I was able to get assigned third and even fourth visits to some of my locals in the last few months, due to them languishing after the post week.
Oh well, I could really use a light duty month, anyway.
Remember those are SELF-ASSIGN limits. Reaching out to your scheduler may get you the shops you want. Good luck.

I got all of the Target and Publix competitor shops I wanted. And my regular 2 Kroger pick ups. Which works for me. But I apparently hit a limit. I normally don't do Walmart shops at all, but my son likes some brand of t-shirt that they sell, so I was going to do one just so he could get some shirts, but all of the pick up shops I tried after that said I had to email my scheduler. So I didn't bother.

The last several times I've tried to email her she feigns that she didn't get my email. There are 5 withdrawals on my record now because she supposedly didn't get my email, even though I sent it to both of the email addresses I have for her and also sent it through the website.
Morledzep, your post lightly suggests that Wal-Mart and Target competitor shops permit one to buy non-grocery store items. Is that correct? If so, that would have never dawned on me.

Bob, this is why I'm always aghast that you don't want to do pickup shops. Everything in the store is fair game. Sorry, lies, no gift cards.
My last 2 Walmart pickup shops were all hairbrushes, BBQ stuff, etc. No grocery. No problem.
Bob, they don't care what you buy, except for gift cards. I get clothing and toys for my brand new shiny 3 year old grandson all the time.
