wooohooo just saw phone shop posted for $2.00!

Not a misprint- a call to a storage place for $2.00! Cannot wait to not sign up as the shop fee is an insult! Hope no one signs up. My fingers will not dial for such a low fee!

Several yrs. ago, Trendsource listed phone shops for 50 cents.
I might do it for $2 if the total time of reading the instructions, dialing the phone, talking to the employee and entering the shop takes less than 6 minutes smiling smiley
CRI is back what?

shopping north west PA and south west ny
My minimum for a phone shop is $5 - and that is assuming that I don't have to wait for X number of days to see if I get a follow up call or contact from the client. What is everyone else's minimum pay for doing a simple phone shop?
And it's just like any other shop - you get into a groove after a couple of them. I lucked out a while back and was able to snag ***42*** phone shops for one client at $8 each, and was able to spread it out over a week.

When they allowed me to sign up for each one, I really thought there was a mistake and they were going to pull some of them back from me, but they didn't. Usually there's a limit of 5 or 10 per round.

$5 as well. I also don't do virtual tour shops since it gives the employee time to make small talk with me. I also don't do shops where I have to ask for the target by name because a "friend or family member" wouldn't recommend them to me unless the leasing agent knew them personally. Leasing agents on reddit have also said that it's a dead giveaway that they are talking to a shopper because people looking for an apartment don't care who they talk to.

For retail shops (i.e. car shops) my minimum is more because those usually require follow-up. I also don't do car shops where I have to ask for a salesman by name unless the person happens to have great reviews online. Then I can say that I read the reviews and only want to work with them. As someone who purchased a brand new car recently, it's what I did to find a salesman who wouldn't waste my time.
My minimum for phone shops is generally $10, but I will sometimes make exceptions for as low as $8 if I know it's easy or I have a good relationship with the scheduler.

Even better when the shop posting includes the words, "Quick and easy," right?

Those are trigger words for me, because usually that means "lengthy and difficult" lol
