It would seem that the MSC's have contracted to get every location evaluated, at least for the major brands.
Living in the Mountain West, I've become a remote loop specialist over the last few years. As the rideshare companies continue to make it harder and harder to operate profitably, I'm always looking for opportunities to drive and crank out a better hourly. That I don't have to wait on any late riders helps make the decision.
More times than not, I've been lucky sitting back and waiting for the time window to flip and the bonuses to go up for more remote stations.
I still kinda marvel at how the bonuses are implemented, though.
I just did a little overnight loop. Four different stops for the red/blue single pump jobs on the Magic app.
First location was super remote, with the equivalent of a $63 bonus + the measly reimbursement.
The second location was in a town of 23k people (where I stayed for the night). $6 bonus + the reimbursement.
Third stop was kitty-corner from the second stop (flying horse instead of the tiger) @ $88 bonus + reimbursement. I have done these locations multiple times and the huge bonus difference has always been there... one of the reasons I booked the loop to begin with.
The fourth one was the next town down the interstate on the way home, for another $6 bonus.
There was a super remote Famous Highway with a $113 bonus + the regular fee + reimbursement in between the first two stops.
Along with a nicely bonused burger drive-in before leaving town the second day, it made for a good trip. That the drive was on a beautiful day through some gorgeous landscapes, and I enjoyed dinner/beers at an Old Chicago, it made the trip even better.
