In my area, the shops are scheduled over the weekends.

The incubation period is 3 - 70 days with most symptoms occurring in a month.....so people may be walking around with the infection and not even know it yet.

I wonder why they rolled out the program when they did.

I hope someone has corrected the other thread that Johnxxx wrote which seemed to indicate the issue was the slicing machines. I heard the report this morning on the news and there was no mention of the slicing machines being the issue. I walked past the Boars head display a few hours ago when I was in Ralphs and they had a totally full case of everything.

I had several scheduled for Thurs, Fri, and Sat. Completed Thurs shops around lunch, and around dinner time on Thursday I received an email saying the program was put on pause.

In RI all stop and shop delis are closed. I just saw the post for BH shops in light if this - photo only! (Photo of the BH products/empty spaces).

Just curious who is RQA ? . Is that a msc? Those jobs are with a different company where I live.

Now there are photo shops to show they have removed the product. Unfortunately I have other plans for tomorrow.

Now the shop has changed from checking for clean less and purchasing meat to no purchase with making sure items should be removed

I passed on the recall jobs because tracking down a manager in a supermarket can be time consuming. I did take a few for the other msc that seemed easier, i hope. Unfortunately i already have other stuff booked for the weekend so had to limit what i can take.

The idea of that certainly doesn't blow my skirt up. I wonder if we'd be purchasing and mailing back (or destroying) product? Buying logs of bologna would be some nice credit card rewards.

sandy, you could lump them in the MSC category, but they're really not. They handle product retrievals and withdrawals when there are issues regarding safety, packaging, etc.

Oh thanks. I knew I had seen those letters somewhere so people were thinking the clean up removal jobs would be done by them. I know some shops are regional so I thought maybe a diff msd might be doing the Boars Head jobs on a diff coast.
There were hundreds of the photo jobs this afternoon in Calif. They just required photos.

Okie, I received the same email. I have no idea if there was an issue with my photos or not - I get the feeling it was just a mass email. I've always used Timestamp Camera, and I've added the store name ever since they updated the guidelines to include that requirement.

Just a head's up for anyone doing the removal check photo shops tomorrow: they can be done anytime the store is open rather than the usual 11am-7pm.

RQA is a company that sends shoppers out to stores to check on and remove expired, recalled, damaged products. The shopper either has to destroy it (and show photos of the destroyed stuff), or they have to ship it to a designated location. Sometimes they do other work, but that's mostly what I'm familiar with.

Listeria is some serious business - and verifying removal is being handled by shoppers earning $10 a pop? You would think Boars Head would work directly through the supply chain....curse words left out. Imagine if they get sued by someone who gets seriously ill...their lawyers will have a field day with this one.
In terms of removal - it's one thing to box up packages of snack chips - quite another to deal with highly perishable meat products.
Oh well,....

Only with the recall company, requires signature ans escort to backstock.. The ones that are paying 10 are pics only.

For the recall, there was no purchase required or shipping, it was just making sure the stores did their part.
