The trick with these is that they want you to speak with someone on the phone who is located at the physical branch. After a few rings, the system transfers you to a call center, and you are supposed to ask to be transferred back to the branch. Well, the branch just automatically transferred you because no one picked up, so you don't have a great chance of reaching someone immediately after. The call center rep will try to explain this to you and emphasize that they are happy to help and perfectly qualified. The call center rep will not present themselves as being at the call center, so it is possible to do the entire shop thinking that you are working with the target branch then have the shop invalidated (The guidelines tell you to make sure you are speaking to someone at the branch). It's been a while since I've done one of these, but most of them took multiple call attempts. The assignment itself is not difficult once you are speaking to someone.
