Five Guys ads on TV

I never used to see Five Guys ads anywhere before, but in the past week they've been all over my YouTube. They are all set in the kitchen area, with the crackling sounds of frying. Some have focused on a crew member telling the audience what sets Five Guys apart from other burger places (example, "We don't have a freezer in any of our stores!"winking smiley while another crew member sort of stumbles around her trying to get the sandwich made.

I stream and don't do cable or broadcast TV, so I was wondering if anyone has seen Five Guys ads on the latter two modes of programming.

I've never seen it, I also don't speak aloud about 5 Guys where my phone or my tablet could be listening and get ideas.
Yes.

Fun fact: YouTube streaming now attracts more viewers than any other form of television viewing, including traditional broadcast and cable TV. In fact, YouTube has become the most-watched video provider on televisions in the U.S., with viewers spending an average of over one billion hours daily on the platform via TV screens.

YouTube has become the most popular form of viewing in the Maverick household, hands down.

Finally, I found some common ground with Maverick1!

I think I may have watched a TikTok poking fun at Five Guys ads? I'm not sure if the ads used were real, fake, or altered, but the guy mentioned "eating meat" and "many men." I'll stop there. smiling smiley

Please don't feed the MSF trolls!

Feeding the MSF trolls bread or other human food is detrimental to their health and the environment. It can lead to malnutrition, disease, and behavioral problems in trolls, as well as water pollution and the spread of pests. Trolls are capable of finding their own food sources and don't require human assistance.
This may explain a conversation i had with a scheduler today. She called me and offered a 5 Guys shop for $10. When I told her that I normally do them for 20-25 and that I would wait. She told me they got a directive from 5G that they cannot go that high any more. In fact, they could only do $2 higher than the fee, so she could offer me $12.
I think I read on here a long time ago that 5G spends all their marketing money on mystery shopping. If they are now spending marketing money on commercials, could they be cutting back on what they will let the MSC pay for a shop?
If they refuse to pay more....then shops will go unfilled. Yes there are people who take for $9 opening rate. But i see $15 and higher continuously in the greater Phoenix Metro.

The closing shops at 9:30pm also need go for more. Most people do not eat that late and to be pigeon-holed into a 30 minute time slot is worthy of higher pay.

Maybe 5g just accepts that less shops are completed, but that does not give a true reflection of how their stores are operating.

I've seen one in Cabazon, CA (west of Palm Springs) go for $20 and higher nearly every week. So does that mean they are okay with never having results from that location because they are not willing to go above $12? I don't think so.

If they wanted to save money...maybe they do every location every other week instead of every week. It could be overkill to do them weekly. While it is nice for the shopper and for the MSC, I don't know how beneficial it is to 5g to have that many shops done for each location, each month
Ban more shoppers smiling smiley Just kidding!

I literally did one two weeks ago for $35 shop pay. It was a 4:15-9pm shop. It was in my city and not a far out rural location.
The 5G locations near me now close at 11 PM, so the last half-hour begins at 10:30 PM. I might go for $40. Emphasis on "might".

Shopping Southeast Pennsylvania, Delaware above the canal, and South Jersey since 2008

Oh, that's just their used car salesman tactic saying they will only do $2 higher than the fee. Don't be fooled.

...Also, never, ever sign up for "buy now, pay later." smiling smiley
The phone schedulers always have an excuse for the microscopic limit they offer.

I recall reading on the forum that 5G contracts state the frequency of mystery shops. If so, they might not be able to reduce the number, since shop results are tied to so many things.

The scheduler I was talking to was the pushiest one I have ever spoken to. She was trying to push an age verification shop on me and I had to explain to her over and over that I was way over age. She was pushing another shop and I told her I'd think about that one and wanted to know why I couldn't decide then. I was driving to a shop and arrived there and couldn't get her off the phone. I finally hung up on her, which is something I never do to schedulers.

Most for that company are not "schedulers." They are sales people for a call center. They have no mercy. Nor should you. Don't accept rudeness or pushy, hard-sell tactics. In other words, just hang up from the get-go. Even better, don't answer the phone. Works for me in time/aggravation saved.
I suspect you're talking about a specific company. And I don't know if their schedulers are employees or not. I know that many MSC's schedulers are IC's just like us. Which means, technically, that they do indeed work on commission.
I always though with a few exceptions, that most schedulers were not employees. I only know of a few companies where folks keep "office" hours.
