We're basically paid to "whine" so whatever.

I've honestly only had one shop where the music was too loud. Usually I get music that's barely audible. And they're only going to griddle things so, eh.

@weatherman2111
Actually, we're paid to follow instructions, not to be a "food and atmosphere critic."

.................this must be trolling
I suppose that if one continues to complete the shop, there must be something that keeps them coming back, despite the gripes. I quit this shop a long time ago.

Yes, I can continue to comment as much as I please. However, that's a point taken; there's nothing left for me to post regarding this topic.

I order the burger in a bowl with extra lettuce, grilled mushroom, jalapeno, peppers, and onions. It makes a tasty little meat salad. My husband LOVES the freestyle Coke machine because it's the only way to get Diet Fanta. Their peanuts are not as good as TXRH.

funny with the comments on the peanuts. My wife will eat the 5g peanuts and not the TXRH ones. Guess she wants them salty. I save the TXRH bags for road trips to keep me awake.

I'm a stickler for fresh ones only - so I'll eat them from anywhere as long as they're fresh...I have a quirkiness about peanuts not being stale.

@hbbigdaddy

They're both fine peanuts but I prefer the TXRH bagged version because there are no "community hands" in them. winking smiley
@maverick1

That is why i go to the bottom of the box. I don't want the ones that could have touched others hands. Just because they have a scooper tool does not mean people always use it.
Well, yes, but then you know nothing about the hands that prepared them for the bagging process. Not everything is mechanical. At some point some stinky hands could have handled them. smiling smiley I tend to get worked up about stuff like that at times, and then I will not eat anywhere for a while.
And like @BarefootBliss said about the stale ones, even one stale one can ruin your taste for them. Just like that one sunflower seed in the bag that has that dusty, rotten taste. ICK.
Do any of you guys remember those restaurant chains where people were known to eat the bucket of peanuts placed on the table, then almost encouraged to throw the shells on the floor? I seem to remember a long time ago, going into some place that had peanut shells on the floor lol.
LongHorn did that. I am not sure if they still do, but I could not stand throwing the shells on the floor.
The last time I shopped Five Guys, they were out of peanuts. The squirrels in my backyard were disappointed.

I'd prefer to get rid of the stupid arcade soda machines. I hate waiting behind some clown that can't make up their mind with 100 options.

give me the old school fountain like at Costco where 2 people can get soda at the same fountain at the same time unless they both want the same flavor.

i get lettuce wraps, so i don't have any complaints on the bun.

This. This man. Can bring the world back. I might write him in for President next time around.
For reviews, I keep my personal taste to myself and strictly answer their survey questions.

In real life, FG is one of the most overrated food places out there...and I'm a fatty who loves burgers, fries, soda, etc. First off the I-Pad-Instagram-Soda Machine. Many sodas like Cherry Coke, (or soda's...for the Insta Generation) doesn't taste like Cherry Coke.

Inconsistent. There's too much inconsistency in that sometimes I can't stop eating the fries ---other times I literally toss most of them out.

Ditto burgers --at times they are juicy and I say "still not my favorite but I get the hype" and finally ....ok, for the record I love hockey fights and Rambo and Rocky....but......ok I'm a Size Queen. The patties are TOO SMALL even by today's shrinkFlation standards.

I'll say it again: On my own dime: If price is EQUAL......I'd pick Burger King or McD ----every single time. Seriously...go get a Bacon Angus King from BK..... it crushes FG

If I want to go next level --- Red Robin. Anyhow tomorrow after noon is possibly the local Indian Buffet for lunch. (not a shop) Oh my God life is good.

BUT... If you go with my kids... They will scan the QR to allow them to dispense hands-free and then make a game of pranking people with surprise dispensing. You can't have that kind of fun with the regular machine!
TXRH used to have the peanut shells on the floor too. Actually, I prefer it that way. I like either all mess or no mess at all. I don't remember Five Guys ever having the shells on the floor, at least not on purpose.
ah yes, that's right, TXRH awhile back ....another one I just remembered is an older chain: Ground Round. (wow long time ago)
Also, a chain that we used to eat at in VA: Logans Steakhouse

so, it's a beef thing LOL.
Everything you just spoke about, I am the opposite. Love the music, never had a soggy bun, too many fries (said no one ever), ketchup is the perfect size and the burgers are damn good. I don’t always eat them, but FG gets the most consistent shop results out of all the places I go (and there are a lot). Just my opinion though. I sure hope you aren’t giving negative reviews for not big enough ketchup containers! Lol
no, for FG, I just answer the stated questions. No More, No Less.

PS/ have you eaten at In-N-Out Burger?
