There's a scheduler many of us here know, who is prone
to shut down shoppers who have to cancel a shop, for any reason.
I was able to get my own profile revived when the MSC was in strong need to get a particular shop done.
This morning, in my email, I find a message the scheduler has sent out
to everyone - about shops that need to get done, presumably not yet done because
of the weather....and most have learned, like me, never take one of those unless
you know you absolutely can do it....

so anyway this is new, the email says "I realize these are in weather advisory locations"

no promises of course that you won't still get cancelled if you miss one,
but hints of leniency at this particular January time.

This business is a funny business.

haha, I've never had an issue with that particular scheduler but that seems to track for their interactions with others.

And, yes, this is a funny business when you get emails like "GAS STATION SHOPS FOR $9 with $1 reimbursement!" and half the country is under a winter weather advisory or worse.

She cancelled my husband's account when he was way too ill to do a shop. They want you to do the shop, doesn't matter the reason.

Since Bliss began this thread 2 wks. ago, I have racked my brain as to the identity of this scheduler. It is near impossible to imagine anyone associated with an MSC dealing with ICs in such a manner. If there were not several other posters, all of whom seem to know the identity of scheduler X, I would assume, over the yrs., I merely had not crossed her path. For surely she and I would have been at loggerheads.

Viv, I do not laugh at comedy, but facetiousness, for whatever reason, I find quite humorous. When it is disguised, but with a tad of realism, it is even better. Gotcha!

Oh I waited. I even went to another website, paid my credit card bill and came back. Checked the thread and my post was not there so tried again.
In just about EVERY thread yesterday there are duplicate posts like this.
But you want to get snippy with me over a website glitch?

Viv, the glitch is relatively easy to avoid, but it gets me sometimes too. Click Reply ONE time. if it doesn't post in 60 seconds, click back on your comment and wait another 60 seconds. Then scroll up and down the page, then click Reply ONE time. It usually goes that time, with no duplicate.

I’m sorry that happened to all of you.

I was removed from active duty by 2 schedulers at different MSCs for canceling due circumstances beyond my control: COVID, and a car accident, despite medical proof.

Unless a project manager can intervene, that points to a company ethic I’m really not interested in engaging further.
