Wawa Reporting

I just reviewed the current guidelines for shops starting today and there is a Geotagging section. I've seen the geotagging mention before, but it seems to be a whole section now. Are we supposed to report all shops on the app? I report my shops on my lap when I get home. That iSecretShops app is way too slow. I sent an email for clarification, but who knows when they will respond.

I have only done one Wawa and it was earlier this month. When I received feedback, the editor asked that for future shops, I report in the app for Geotagging. I guess we now have to sit in the parking lot and complete the shop? I was confused by the comment, but now with the new guidelines,it makes sense. I was not a fan of the sandwich, so that may be my one and done.
For any Wawa fans out there, the chain is new to my area and many of us do not get the hype.
I have done other shops on the app and I just open the shop, start the shop, click on the geo tag (something like click here when you are on site) and save it. Sometimes I finish in the car, but most times I finish when I get home. Never had a problem.
People in my area have been complaining. Like everywhere else, prices have increased and they are charging extra money for add ons that were not extra money in the past.
I noticed that they are now requiring us to check center of the store stock. A few months ago, that was a shop on its own - order on the app for pick up, and check fridge and shelf stock during the pickup. I have cut down on my shops. I hope they increase the fee and reimbursement soon to keep up with the increased prices and additional work.
I've been completing Wawa shops for years, and I've always entered my shop on the website, but I have been urged in my "Approved" emails that they want us to use the app to take the photos and enter the shop. Yesterday I used the app as they requested and I did enter most of my shop on the app, but it was a little buggy and I had to finish up on the website. The shop was approved, but the email again said my location services weren't turned on, so I will try the app again the next shop I complete, maybe it won't be buggy. I agree, the reimbursement needs to bumped up, as all my purchases have been higher than the reimbursement due to our insane prepared food taxes we have here (around 12%.)
I have the location turned on, but the Wawa app is not showing up in the list of apps. I'll try it tomorrow when I do the shop and will try to input it from the parking lot.
My location was on as well. They're too nit picky for low pay and a sandwich that isn't even good.
I have done over 100 wawa shops and I just click the button to start shop and enter the date and times before going in. I usually add 5 min for exit time and adjust if needed. I’ve never gotten a comment back.

I agree that they need to up the reimbursement. I have been on a diet so I now order a shorti with double meat instead of a classic. More meat and less bread that way. More satisfying. Sometimes slightly more money. Tax puts just about everything over reimbursement. I only take shops for us to eat the hoagies, not for money-making. They fail on sandwich quality way too often. Notice there are no questions about whether it tastes good. Only if it’s neat and made as ordered. And seriously, why can’t we get bto bowls? Same effort as a gobbler which was allowed.
