Gig workers and Mystery Shoppers: what would you want in a job & payment tracking app?

I’m building a gig worker tracker app for myself and I’m curious what other people would want in something like this. I know yall can come up with things I haven’t thought of yet.

Right now it tracks:

• company name

• job type

• job date

• report deadline

• expected pay date

• pay amount

• reimbursement amount

• payment status

• notes and ability to do everything in app by voice

• tracks mileage

• tracks expenses to give you a total of how much you really made

• ability to track all of the kinds of gig working jobs in one place

It also shows totals for money owed and money earned. And marks each job as paid or unpaid.

For those of you doing mystery shops or other gig work, what features would you want in a tracker like this?

What do you currently struggle to keep track of?

There had been something like this. Don't know if it's still a thing. Hopefully someone else remembers.
We get paid for our opinions. :-)

Shopping Arkansas, Louisiana, & Mississippi.
This covers most of what I would want, tbh.
Maybe an estimated tax amount but the more you add, the more complex it gets.

Edit - one more thing - I think "time spent" or "time worked" and a calculation to show what you're making per hour (even if it's just an estimate) would be nice.

I have used that line more than once when asked about a survey.
Great idea, and you’ve got an ambitions list already.

I’ve struggled to account for total time spent on an assignment because we don’t get paid by the hour, or travel time in addition to mileage but…

…We do spend significant time doing things to do a job well.

I’d appreciate a streamlined way to input time spent on prep, travel, on location, travel home, editing and uploading images, writing/proofreading reports, tech issues, and other communication back and forths.

It would save me a ton of time transferring info I try to log manually, and that kind of data would really help me better understand how much it’s really costing me to do a specific gig for a particular company by the hour.

Examples:

A- gig with a modest fee/reimburse/purchase that asks for a quick 15 minute audit with 20 questions and couple of pics with a smooth operating report.

B- a higher paying but detail-intensive targeted assignment with bonus negotiations for 140 miles of travel, significant prep time, scripted scenarios, required recordings,1-10 days for follow up, editing and uploading images and screen shots, 150 short answer questions with comments, and several additional detailed narratives, and back and forth with editors, on a glitchy platform.

I just use door to door hours since I do very little prep and almost no entry at home (except making maps, I like making maps for some reason and don't charge for it).
