Five Guys - no more combo meals?

It looks like Five Guys is no longer offering the combo meal, at least in our area (Columbus, OH). The ones in the Toledo area never offered it, but their prices were a little lower to make up for it. However, the prices are still the same around here. $5.59 for Little Fries and $3.49 for a regular drink. Thankfully the reimbursement covers you for a Little Hamburger, and you're only paying around 50 cents out of pocket if you order a Little Cheeseburger or Patty Melt.

What have others experienced? Maybe they are expanding the promo to some markets and removing it from others.

never had the option here. and I was always crabby about the price of the burger til I did a mcdonalds shop and the big mac with the skinniest patties ever was about $8? at least the 5 guys you can see the burger!!
The 5g burger is not as overpriced as people claim. Certainly, when you are comparing to In N Out $20 vs $10 for combo, you think it's a rip, but its a much larger burger and it is more fries too.

I'm not saying I'm comfortable paying $20...I'm just saying people are not being scientific in their comparisons and only looking at cost.
Still available in SoCal, 13.99 for a lil cheeseburger, little fry and regular drink. Come outs under the reimbursement after tax. On the app there's up option to upgrade to a different sandwich or get the bacon lil cheeseburger that comes out to 17.23 after tax.
Make it a Meal disappeared in South Florida a few weeks ago. Now I go over the reimbursement even with a little hamburger. The only way to stay under is a hot dog or grilled cheese.

I guess somebody has to shop those items! I suppose it's time for me to try out one of their hot dogs. All these shops I've done and I've never ordered one.
Still available in Sonoma County California
I did one last night in Illinois, and the cashier rang up my order as a classic combo.
They are still available in Southeast Michigan.

A little nonsense now and then, is relished by the wisest men.
They took down the signage but are still able to ring it up as a combo meal here in greater DC area. They did raise the price of the combo. I think it was 14.99 yesterday making it $16.79 with tax yesterday.
The hot dogs are actually really good! I am not a “hotdog” person, but I enjoy one from Five Guys from time to time with tomatoes, jalapeños and their yummy mayonnaise.
The cashier asked me if I wanted a combo meal today. $6.99 for small fries and regular drink. With a small burger, I was about a dollar under budget.

Shopping South Jersey, Southeast Pennsylvania, and Delaware above the canal since 2008
So I went to do a shop in my area today, and they had the "Classic Combo" for $14.99 this time. You get a Little Burger, a Little Fry, and a regular drink. So that saves around $2-3 compared to the regular price. It's around 60 cents or $1.60 more expensive than the previous $6 combo upgrade for a Little Hamburger or Little Cheeseburger respectively. Hopefully it'll stick around for a while.
My fries came in a small bag brown today, no more white cups?? I guess they're cutting back on expenses. It does feel like it's less fries, which I don't mind because I normally can't finish them anyways.

Since new years. I haven't noticed any change in quantity.
I ate there last week. I could be wrong of course, but it almost seems like the beef patty was smaller/thinner than in the past.

Life was passing like a hand waving from a train I wanted to be on
I think it depends on each franchisee. Those who can get business w/o offering combo won't.
I did one in WI on Sunday. Combo was available. Signage was posted.
I did one today - combo still avail. I hope it doesn't go away anytime soon in my area. I used to always give the burgers to my sons -- they are both away now, so I have been enjoying them for myself!
Yeah, they seem to be gone in my area as well. I'm sure it was resulting in lower revenues. If they're going to have a combo, they need to advertise it better to bring in new customers, not just the ones that were already going there and buying everything separately for the higher price.
