This is what they appear to want. If you get a single receipt, it makes no difference if it has everything on it, you have to ask for the debit receipt. They will look at you like you're stupid and tell you that's the only receipt.
But, this prevents their editors from needing to look at the receipt and verify it contains all the necessary information to verify the purchase and whether fees/discounts were added. Because, getting the job done is less of a priority than making sure they can employ the lowest cost editing staff, people who have no clue how these transactions work.
The problem goes all the way up, the "manager" parroted what the editor said. I asked what information they are missing on the receipt and they couldn't answer the question. Their sticking point is that I didn't ask for another receipt (that I knew doesn't exist). My bad for having worked in retail.
