False. I leave the holiday decorations up until about January 10th. When my parents got married January 8, 1949, the large Christmas tree in the church was still up, and many of their wedding photos captured that tree, along with the bridesmaids in red velvet and of course the bride in white. Every year after that, my parents left their tree up for their anniversary and took it down January 9. I've always observed the same tradition, even though both Mom and Dad are long gone.

Nope, I installed a Little Free Library in front of my house, so, the neighbors/friends can help themselves. Business is brisk in the Science Fiction and Occult areas. So few people of the family circle have the love of reading that I have, so it is strictly gift cards all around.

False, I keep losing them! I'm in Wisconsin and luckily found a pair under the car seat this morning. 28 degrees, 45 mph wind, snow/sleet mix. Yuck. Did one job before abandoning ship until tomorrow.

False. We do a nontraditional seafood Christmas dinner and my mother in law got to the crab meat I was saving to make sushi the next day with before I could. One day, I will achieve my goal of making sushi with real crab meat and not krab. It's good but I think of krab as the hot dogs of the sea!

True! My birthday is in early September. When I was about 7, I realized that it often coincided with the Jewish New Year AND the start of the school year. I thought it very wise of Jews to start the new year "on" my birthday and have taken a bit of celebratory action each Jewish New Year ever since. I also celebrate Bastille Day and Junetenth (Freedom Day), plus Christmas, New Year, July 4th and Labor Day.
