Hi, Ashley, we are a forum of mystery shoppers and we are not affiliated with any company. We can try to help with advice but you will need to provide a lot more information. Who is Perfect Choice? Do you have a website address for them? Did you perform work for them? Why exactly are they sending you a check?
The website is perfect choice ltd and they had email me july 30 2013 and told me me to give them.my name address phone number after i gave them that info they told they was sendinge $300 in the mail cause they gave me my label number so i can call my post office to see have it arrive but my post office told me it was ship off on july 32st and they said it was suppose to been here on august 5th but i didnt get anything in the mail yet from them
If you do get something in the mail from them, I would advise you not to cash it. This is a SCAM. Legitimate companies do not generally contact mystery shoppers by E-mail and ask them for contact information. Legitimate companies contact you only after you have signed up on their website, provided contact information and SS# and signed the Independent Contractor Agreement. They do not generally pay in advance. And mystery shopping does not pay that much money. Use Google and search for Perfect Choice Ltd and you will find a lot of complaints from others who have been scammed by this company.
It would take a couple of hours to adequately answer your question, but it's okay, the information is all already available here. It's all free but will take you some time to read what's on the forum.

Mystery shoppers run their own small businesses working for themselves. They perform assignments for various mystery shopping companies as Independent Contractors. It requires a large expenditure of time initially to research how it works and to get started. If you go to the New Mystery Shopper area, there is a lot of information available on how to do it. A list of legitimate companies is at the bottom of the page, the blue link, Official List of Mystery Shopping Companies. Each shopper decides how many companies to register with and which ones. Each company has a registration process the shopper can follow by going to their website.
This sounds like it might be a scam because I don't know of any mystery shopping company that hands out any money BEFORE the job is done. You might want to look up the website of the company, contact them, and find out.

Yes, mystery shopping can be an occupation or a hobby or something in between, depending on the person. You will find lots of information on this forum if you check out the different sections.

Good luck
The last time the post office told me that something was mailed on July32st, I received it on the second of never.

ash16johnson sounds and writes like a teenager looking for quick and fast money. It seems like she has given up much more than an alias to obtain info from a scam company A good word of advice would be ......stay in school. Pay close attention in English and grammar class. Writing is a good subject to stay involved in also. Writing reports should be your best especially when it comes to writing reports for MS companies.
Each company pays in a different way after an assignment is completed. When you register with a company, you will be able to read how and when the company pays.

Funny, when I read this thread, I think of diapers.
I was wondering when someone was going to come to that conclusion Buzzsmiling smiley

Never try to teach a pig to sing. It's a waste of your time and it really annoys the pig.
Lisa, I began thinking about recipes after the OP's second post and was thinking about writing a cookbook after his/her third post.
