I hope everyone posts all about it: which companies were there, what the classes were like, etc. I hope you have a wonderful time learning and networking.
I'm getting excited about networking with other shoppers and with MSC folks. I got to meet SanDiego and Eric in Tampa on Monday and it was very informative and a blast too! They were both in Phoenix and we arranged a meeting.

Anyone else find it ironic that a MS conference is being held in the state which places the strictest legal restrictions upon MSing?

One reason for Nevada conferences is that the few compaies that are set up to do work there are big among the underwriters of the conferences and alomost always arrange to have a session (or more) to recruit and support new shoppers who want to get the required dociments. NV shops pay very well and there are tons of them; there are far more thanthe supply of good local shoppers. For those who can make the trips, having a NV work card is about the best investment an MSer can make.

Now that you put it that way, I guess it makes some sense.
Also, Vegas is the location of the very first conference.
Other reasons include, it usually is/can be a relatively inexpensive place to travel too. Airfare, hotels, and meals can be had for a steal if you look around.
Plus it's VEGAS! There's something for everyone to enjoy.

I'm just now getting caught up after a very long route out west. I wanted to thank iblessyah and SandiAgo for meeting me in Phoenix last week. It was definitely fun and one of the highlights on my route.
For those of you that have never been to an IMSC conference before, I strongly recommend for you to go. Definitely a very informative time with many familiar companies within the shopping industry, as well as familiar names within this forum. It is truly a good time, and I've thoroughly enjoyed the time spent at the two conferences that I've attended in the past.

Did you find a roomie yet? I'm interested and was going to post but remembered someone had posted awhile back. It would be my first conference so I want to be there for all of it as well!

Am in Vegas a day early to rest before the conference. I brought $40 as my limit to lose in the giant video games (slots). I may not be able to mystery shop in Nevada but I turned that $40 into $269 while sitting at the same machine for two hours "resting". Lol
