"Truth is generally kindness, but where the two diverge and collide, kindness should override truth."

I just remember another one..."Those who expect to reap the blessing of liberty must undergo the fatigues of supporting it."
Thomas Pine ( 1737-1809 ).
I think that this quotation is perfect for this time of the year.

If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat; if he is thirsty, give him water to drink.
Proverbs 25:21
I like this one too.
"Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, and today is a gift; that's why they call it the present."
Eleanor Roosevelt (1884-1962)
That last one really hits home with the election coming up soon!

If you do the right thing - the right things happen - - by Jude

After my grandmother passed, I found this in her wallet:

Do not walk in front of me, I may not follow;

Do not walk behind me, I may not lead;

Just walk beside me and be my friend.
This ones for Flash - who is so organized, makes the rest of us envious:

“Three rules for work: out of clutter find simplicity; from discord find harmony; and, in the middle of difficulty lies opportunity.” –Albert Einstein

Thanks Jude. In reality for me organization is survival. I am not fond of panic attacks and I don't like looking like an idiot when the phone rings with a shop question and I can't find my notes.
I agree totally. My regular job requires me to be structured and organized, so at home sometimes I get a little sloppy and let things stack up before filing it. BUT it is all in my basket beside my computer!
A basket beside my computer would work great if it wasn't quickly overly full so that it wasn't "find" but "sort and try to find" smiling smiley If it doesn't get put away as it comes out of my hand I am on my way to disaster.

I wasn't always that way but it is getting worse rather than better. Luckily I do on line bill pay so I open mail at the computer and set up bills for future payment when I open the envelope and then file them away. If I leave them for later there is likely to be a problem in finding them because I am not the only person who lives in the house and uses the main computer area. Similarly, I am not the only person who uses "my" vehicle, so I need to be careful to note my mileage when I end a shopping trip and take all my stuff inside with me as I may discover I am using the other vehicle when it is time next to shop.

So "my" car supplies box and "my" desk supplies stuff and "my" file tub and "my" tote of stuff keeps me organized and also goes a long way to keeping materials, supplies and equipment safe from "borrowing" that has me hunting both desks and vehicles to see where it landed. I guess I could scream, but it is more effective to just denote "MINE" and keep the shop necessary stuff separate from the regular household and desk supplies.
Yall are crazy, yall make me laugh!!! lol Today I did 1 demo and 3 shops, and I am exhausted. Pinkerton is a fun company to work for, it took my mind off you know who. I just finished all the paper work. Boring. I am ready to relax. I have 50 emails I need to go through, but half are from this site. hahahaha
Jude I like that, Did yall know people thought he was crazy, when in reality he was a ADHD genius. Vivian Lee was also ADD and BiPolar, I have studied these and many more with Eli being SED.
Billy still thinks I am a dork with my binder/ dividers organizational system. But hey it works, I do, staple, hole punch and add to the divider listed with the correct logoed company and if they need something I know right where it is. This way might get crazy after a while but for now it works really well. I will figure that out when I get to it, or I will ash Flash. lol
Now I must continue answering these emails.
The whole organizational process is to find what YOU can work with so that YOU can find what YOU need when YOU need it.

My new saying: Any competent shopper can complete a positive product, when everything goes the way it is planned. It takes an experienced shopper to produce an excellent result when life interferes and everything that can go wrong seems to. That is how we separate the boys from the men.
"A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects."

The statistics on sanity are that one out of every four Americans is suffering from some form of mental illness. Think of your three best friends. If they are okay, then it's you.
