When I was out I saw 1.94, 1.96 and 1,99 today. I had 35 cents off per gallon grocery loyalty card and a 2% on gas credit card. When the dust settles, I will have paid about 1.60 per gallon. I do anticipate that the price will go down further but I suspect posted prices of 1.50 are a little optimistic. I suspect the refineries would rather close down for extended periods of 'cleaning, repairs and upgrades' in order to keep the prices up on what they produce.
Still $2.39 here and that's low for us. I say mule fritters!!

It is 1.78 here, I really hope it stays down or goes a bit lower.

I was also amazed that I was able to prebuy propane for $1.10 a gallon. I have paid as much as $3.89 a gallon in the past.
Except when you're within 3 miles of the airport at San Francisco and soak you $5.29 a gallon, where rental cars are required to buy gas before returning the car

A local Kroger is competing with a new Giant Eagle and had gas for $1.65. With my plus card (and 4x points from buying gift cards), I filled up for 65 cents a gallon last night! I think that's the lowest I've EVER paid.
Around here it's about $1.85 today, but I hear in Southeast Michigan (Macomb County) it's around $1.50. Maybe that pricing will come our way eventually.
$1.65 here in upstate SC too!

Happily shopping the Pacific Northwest. Shopping since 2013 smiling smiley
Lowest I've seen on L.I. is $2.11. I heard that TX & NJ is well under $2.00. I just hope that this country doesn't stop drilling. Drill, drill, drill!
That's the goal, to be self-sustaining in the oil department and left those foreign countries rob someone else for oil.
I saw it as $1.73 somewhere the other day. Most around me is $1.78 plus or minus. I love paying less at the pump but I think it's bad in the long term and needs to go back up.

I paid $1.56 today! This is really cutting down on the number of gas station shops I need to do to cover the cost of my gas!
No where near that in California. It is going down, but we're still in that $2.40 bracket (average - still some at $2.55 when I was out yesterday with the low $2.25 at just one gas company).
We are still in the $1.80s around here. I can usually anticipate that the trading price of RBOB on the commodities exchange plus about 64 cents (taxes, transportation & profit) is what we will be paying. The RBOB for February is 1.05 today so I guess next month we will be paying about ten to fifteen cents less than at present.
Aaaahhhhhh.......I was excited about $1.49 but SunnyDays2 wins at $1.47. My VW uses diesel though and it is only $1.59 and I am beyond excited!!

The price of a barrel of oil went up Friday so some stations will be spiking today as high as $1.80 in my area. But a barrel of oil went down this morning so by Wednesday prices will go down again.
Gotta love it! They expect the stock market to crash sometime this month, barrels of oil will likely plunge even more...might see prices closer to $1 per gallon. While this is great for us, not so great for the people who work in the oil business (low on the totem pole employees, anyway).

I don't wish for anyone in the oil industry to suffer.... but I sure love the cheap gas prices! smiling smiley
The higher-ups don't suffer. They still take the same paycheck and lots of layoffs for those who aren't so high up...which sucks. But nothing we can do about it.
Aren't they hiring in the renewable energy sectors?winking smiley

$1.00 per gallon during a price war, the line was around the block. In Sacramento two brothers who hated each other decided they were going to drive each other in to the ground. The trick was getting to their station early because a free coffee or Monster drink was given out to loyal customers buying gas for $0.79 a gallon. The father of these two Middle Eastern brothers finally intervened, pulled their allowance and made them sell their stations and return home. Our loss, fun while low gasoline prices lasted.

Wow, you have some great prices. I filled up for $1.51/gal yesterday, which I thought was pretty good.
