Ate too much, and too heavy yesterday, so I'm having a big ol' salad & hubby is on his own to fend for himself & graze.

Salad! Butter lettuce, slivered almonds, raspberries, wee bit o' swiss, and a few secret ingredients that put it over the top. It was beautiful, too...

Planned over: pot roast, gravy, mashed potato, steamed carrots. It is a very dark, very rainy/stormy day. So, comfort food.

Picked up a Rottisseree chicken and made a Tortilla soup (delicious) with a wonderful french bread I got on sale at Von's (not a shop). Will make a no bake low fat blueberry cheesecake for later.

I will chop up some cold, leftover duck to add to couscous. Then chopped ripe tomato, chopped Kalamata olives, a dollop of garlic hummus, and, maybe, some leftover sauteed spinach. A tasty bowl for a hot day.
