Subway Chicken wrap, two chocolate chip muffins, and a six pack of cider. I cook a stirfry tomorrow night.
I think Hubby and I are waiting each other out to see who makes something.
I mentioned a curry thinking Hubby would take over, but not so far!

A dump and bake recipe I love and tastes great. Ten minutes prep. Long grain wild rice mix package, 2 cream of your preference soups, 1/4 C water and meat of your choice uncooked, cut in medium pieces. I used chicken. Mix everything except chicken and pour in 9x13 pan. Place chicken pieces on top. Sprinkle a dry mix on top. I used HEB onion and mushroom brand. Seal tightly with foil. Cook at 350 1 to 2 hours. Recipe from TheSeasonedMom blog. Every recipe I have tried from her blog has been great.
Homemade chili, guacamole, taco chips.

Hubby said to put it on regular rotation.
I have never had ratatouille so have nothing to compare it to.
Sprinkle with salt and Roast:
1/2 diced eggplant
1. diced zucchini
1 diced red pepper
Sauté onion, add garlic, fennel seed, red pepper flakes, Italian seasoning,
Then add
half a large can tomatoes
2 cups chicken broth
Simmer 30 - 40 minutes
Add roasted vegetables, simmer about 10 more minutes. Serve with basil.
Tasty but only substantial enough for a light meal.

Making navy bean soup with onions carrots and ham. Its actually the herbs that make it delicious. Garlic , thyme and bay leaves.
Homemade chicken noodle soup. I make mine with grated carrots, finely chopped celery, stock, garlic, salt, pepper, rosemary, thyme, basil, lots of chicken and egg noodles. I don't like big pieces of vegetables, so I grate or dice.
Today I've got a pot roast in the crock pot, already seasoned and just cooking until it falls apart on its own. I will serve it with mashed potatoes and carrots roasted and then candied with brown sugar and apricot preserves. Since the cinnamon buns didn't happen yesterday I'm thinking about a dessert. Cherry pie? Orange bundt cake with orange frosting and sprinkles?
