Today (Sunday) was church and errands. I called my parents and did some home homework for grad school.

It's just a doggie to the vet for treatment and other assorted errands today. Then making a big chopped salad to go in the fridge for dinner and getting the kitchen cleaned. The mundane details of life way outnumber the highlights. Maybe that is what makes them highlights?

I stopped buying exercise equipment and cooking gadgets. After a month, I always go back to the basics: a cast iron skillet and a good chef's knife, or cardio and body weight exercises.

I was supposed to do a few shops but the scheduler pulled them befire I could get out on the riad. Hubby was going to change brake pads but scissor jack broke. So laundry got caught up. Quiet day

Today the insurance adjuster is coming over to have his first look at our ruined kitchen. We don't know as of yet what the policy provides for so it should be a very educational day. I will also do the shopping I didn't get to yesterday and I have a few important phone calls to take care of.

I like my equipment. It gives me aerobic and anaerobic workouts. It is recommended for me because of injuries and the winters here. It provides desperately needed variety. I donated the old equipment. I missed it! Now, I have a new version. smiling smiley

Laundry, scheduling 105K maintenance for my Honda Fit (first required tune up), kitchen clean-up, cooking entrees for several days of suppers, avoiding oppressive, dangerous heat and humidity, making reservations for 3 hotel shops.

Based in MD, near DC
Shopping from the Carolinas to New York
Have video cam; will travel

Work and laundry today. Yesterday, I got my eyebrows threaded. She did a horrible job! She pulled the skin, and my brows are uneven!

Set up my first airline mystery shops for a quick trip to Dallas in early August. Walked at the mall (to avoid the almost-one hundred degree heat, but then walked around the neighborhood with hubby after dinner.

I just finished a book that made me l a u g h ... s o ... h a r d. That was my treat for being diligent and organizing my work for the next two weeks. I wonder what I will do for a treat after I finish my next two weeks of work... I hope it is funny.

Today I'm getting caught up on spreadsheets and paperwork, finishing up phone calls for our other business and hopefully I get time to bake later. I love baking. Inbetween all that I'm running up and down stairs to do laundry.
