LOL! Amazon, you might be tomorrow's wee wonderment, in which we may consider the potentail relationship between instant and delayed gratification and larger life. If there is any correlation, we may explore how this or these factors may affect individuals, families, and societies.
Or, not.
We might just want to enjoy Autumn. I am lovin' it! There is just enough snow to be picturesque but not enough to be dangerous. This is one of those perfect days.
ETA: oh, unprintable. I posted too soon. Roads were closed and I stayed home instead of going into the wild white yonder and merchandising. It's okay. I am doing house tasks and watching the last two Harry Potter flicks. The best thing about the movies is that the kids aged naturally, but the adults did not age at all. Was that magic? haha. The second best thing is that Harry found his balls and kept his feet on the ground, in a manner of speaking. haha. At a few points in these films, I wondered whether Harry was a Hogwarts-era Elijah. Both fellows experienced assorted foes/Jezebels, were cowardly for awhile, and then manned up and did what they needed to do. They had a little help along the way. They were changed by their experiences. We get a few lessons from their stories.
My garden in England is full of eating-out places, for heat waves, warm September evenings, or lunch on a chilly Christmas morning. (Mary Quant)
