I know! It's just awful for both of us to be laid up at the same time. Hubby is SOOOoooo bruised in the groin (and other sensitive, centrally located areas!!) He's really strong, and when they were starting the cath procedure through the groin, he apparently hadn't received enough sedative, because he said he tried sitting up and said, "Hey! I can feel that!" They quickly gave him more! But I think the attempt at sitting up exacerbated the bruising he now has. ME??? After they said they gave me the sedative for my heart cath, I asked, "How long till it takes effect?" They said, "Oh, just a minute or two"."Then I said, "Oh, I feel it. Nighty-night!" Then I woke up on the transport bed in front of my hospital room!@CoffeeQueen wrote:
Guysmom and Mr. Guysmom, cut it out LOL. Seriously, get well!
So here hubby is, sore and waiting to heal up from his bruises, but feeling MUCH MUCH better in his heart! And here I am wearing a heart monitor to see what's going on with my rhythms. I was diagnosed 8 years ago with multiple, unifocal, benign PVCs, and have kept it under control with supplements. But somehow, I think the stress of my hubby's situation did something to the cortisol and adrenaline levels in my system, and put my heart rhythm on a bouncy journey for now!
